IMO the mod hides too much of the dirt that you don't relly see high fertility or terra preta anymore... Maybe change the coverage based on fertility? Like more coverage on high and preta since they are more prone to vegetation? Then low-mid fert don't extend that far down.

Nephelangelo Hello, I understand what you mean, I looked through the game files and I did not find a simple way to apply the logic of applying a snow texture to sand and gravel, this most likely needs to be done through code in which I do not understand anything, in fact, you need to use the logic of applying the grasscoverage texture to sand and gravel blocks, but how to do this with a patch, alas, I could not figure out because I did not find the logic of applying grasscoverage in the json files, sorry

Could you do a version of this that also extends the snow texture down over the side of gravel and sand blocks?

LordOri sometimes players like simpler solutions, I don't think there was anything wrong with leaving it on, but that's up to you I guess. Just didn't want to discourage you from posting your work.

jayu Don't worry, I made the decision myself, you just gave me a little hint that there are alternatives with better functionality, that's why I deleted the mod because there was no point in it

I love this mod, though i find that it makes spoting high fertility soil much, much, less likely. i tend to like the added challenge due to my playstyle, but i feel like this might be worth taking into consideration for other people :) If you already are frustrated by the difficulty to find such soil, you might have to pass on this mod ^^'

Se7enSquared The mod name can be a bit confusing. It doesn't change the grass growing on top of blocks, it changes the texture of soil blocks when they get overgrown with grass. If you look at the photos, the grass reaches down furter along the sides of the blocks, creating a smoother look to hills and such. Note that it doesn't apply to "Forest floor" blocks, since that's their own thing.
