Updated bookshelf backing to match the wood type used instead of the dark brown texture of the basegame.
As this mod only changes the texture used, it can be enabled/disabled anytime, and used on servers that don´t have it installed.

Still seems to be working in 1.22.3 as far as I can tell.

First of all, I love this mod. The super dark backing that the vanilla textues have just looks wrong.
Second, I just wanted to bring your attention to the fact that this mod will need to be updated for 1.22, because 1.22 adds a new wood texture for bookshelves and other items. What used to be the "aged bookshelf" will now be called "very aged bookshelf," and there is a new texture for all the variations of the "aged bookshelf." The new textures also seem to have the same super dark backing.

Is the author still around and updating?
In case anyone was wondering, I tested this and it still seems to work on 1.21.1.
Wild that this isnt the default, why is it blank on vanilla lol
