Ho-ho-ho fellow Vintarians! Christmas is here!

This is a continuation of ZigTheHedge great work, now patched to the latest version (1.20.10) of the game.

Original mod can be found here: Xmas Time

 

Retouched textures and some of the shape files to be compatible with current version.

Also added two of my own models to add to the xmas-theme: Now with a proper xmas tree, decorated and not decorated.

 

All credits go to ZigTheHedge for creating the original!

  • Added: Christmas presents are now storable on shelves, and take less space when placed on the floor
  • Added: New recipes for some items, and added more year signs for coming years
  • Added: The decorated christmas tree and table wreath are now light sources and will brigten the area around them
  • Fixed: Retextured models to use the games current textures
  • Fixed: Made some of the light chains glow a bit more, and look more shiny

I love this mod so much! It does seem however that the lights place backwards from what is shown in their preview.

I know that looks very weird, but I simply followed the naming convention from the original mod. To me it's all strange as well, but that's actually how the original had their year signs. I guess the idea is it's the year to come, that we transist into, rather than the actual year we are in 🙃😏

So... slight issue as I was looking at the "year" signs and the ones for 2024 all are 2025.  Not sure if it's a simple reference bug or a texture issue.

Thanks for updating this mod, Ape. Spreading Xmas cheer in March! It was such a bummer at the holiday, not having a proper Xmas mod. Now we do! :)
