This looks really lovely. I love more variety in light sources !!
I see the issue now, xXx_Ape_xXx
I opened the entry for one of the lit lanterns and the first recipe it shows is to use an unlit lantern. The ACTUAL recipe shows up a second later and they alternate. I wasn't giving it enough time to cycle to the full recipe. All good!
I’d like to add to Hydromancerx’s list with a cruise lamp. I’m a historian, and one of my deeply niche interests is historical lighting methods. The cruise lamp is one of my favourite and is very underrepresented.
I love the easter eggs in this mod heehee ^_^
Greetings, fellow adventurers and toilers of the underground!
As the local miner, tasked with the relentless gathering of ores for my ever-demanding blacksmith boss, my days are often spent in the dim, oppressive darkness of the mines. However, my world has recently been illuminated, quite literally, thanks to the incredible More lanterns
This mod has introduced a variety of vibrant and functional lanterns that have transformed my mining experience. No longer do I stumble blindly through the tunnels, risking life and limb. The new lanterns not only provide much needed light but also add a touch of beauty to the otherwise dreary caverns.
I must extend my heartfelt thanks to the mod author, Ape. Your creation has not only brightened my path but also lifted my spirits. Each lantern, with its unique glow, serves as a beacon of hope, guiding me safely through the labyrinthine depths and making my arduous task a bit more bearable.
In a world where the demands of a slave-driving blacksmith can often feel overwhelming, these lanterns have become my silent companions, offering comfort and clarity. For this, I am eternally grateful.
May your creativity continue to shine as brightly as the lanterns you’ve gifted us.
With deepest gratitude, Bubblybill, the Nudist Miner
This is a wonderful mod! Here are some ideas for other lamps and lanterns ...

- Nautical Lantern
Thanks in advance!

What lanterns don't have recipes? Screen shot?
All variants have an "unlit" version that you can find in creative, but there are no recipes to make the unlit versions directly. Are those the ones you miss?
You first have to make the lit version, and then you can switch to the unlit one in the crafting grid if you'd like to use that one.
Hey, xXx_Ape_xXx
So now I'm confused....loads of these lanterns don't have any instructions on how to make them. Where are the recipes?
Oh, I love this! Instant download!
These models look great in game. I like that the hanging variant has a little connecting chain. The weird metal stick on the vanilla lanterns always bothered me.
Why would you do this to me!? I already have too many mods....
