Stone Path Retexture #2
A followup to my "Dirt Paths" mod, this mod retextures the stone path block into the granite gravel block with occasional alternate textures features leaves. This allows for nicer looker paths, while not being as primitive as the "Dirt Paths" mod.
Additionally, since this is a client side mod it can be used on a server without the server having to add it.

I wanna guess it's because it's much simpler to create a simple retexture over making an entire new set of blocks. It's the difference between just overriding the textures for 3 blocks vs. having to create textures for and make the code to implement 3 new blocks.
Why don't you create new blocks?
