Features

Controls

  • Right click item in hand on slot - add item to slot
  • Right click empty hand on item in slot - remove the item
  • Wrench + Sprint + Right click on slot (with item in) - Rotate item clockwise

Changes have been made to the config file, please remove the old one from the modconfig folder to fix any errors - Added by Window Storage Lib

For issues with Linux please update to the latest version of Window Storage Lib (1.2.3) where it has been fixed - Thanks to Toyota for helping me with testing

 

  • New Changes 1.8.0
  • Vanilla Pane with Display Unit now has 2 doors on the unit part that animate open and closed, this will not affect the open and close state as they are seperate. They are interacted with independently.
  • Each part will play a sound when interacted with
  • Fine Tune added to Stagger modes - Change depth of item per slot
  • Sneak + Sprint + Right Click with Empty Hand on any slot to cycle display modes for that group (New 1. WSL 2.0)
  • Sprint + Right Click with Empty Hand on any slot when in Random Mode to Shuffle Depth (New 1. WSL 2.0)
  • Sprint + Right Click with Empty Hand on slot with item when in Fine Tune Mode - Move Item Forward (New 1. WSL 2.0)

  • When in random mode right click on frame selection box to shuffle the depth of the slots - group 0, group 1 and group 2 slots are independent (New in 1.7.0)
  • Rain on window sounds (Sound no longer stacks as I have solved that issue) 
  • Windows can now be made in bulk due to recipe changes - Made recipes more complex and removed the vanilla pane requirement from them (New in 1.7.0)
  • Improved glass rendering (New in 1.7.0)

 

Controls - Added by Window Storage Lib - Made to be simple and not have tooltips show on the window 

  • Right click on frameBox to use interactions
  • Right click slot with item to place in the slot
  • Right click with Empty Hand on item to pick it up from slot
  • Sneak + Sprint + Right Click with Empty Hand on any slot to cycle display modes for that group (New 1.2.0)
  • Sprint + Right Click with Empty Hand on any slot when in Random Mode to Shuffle Depth (New 1.2.0)
  • Sprint + Right Click with Empty Hand on slot with item when in Fine Tune Mode - Move Item Forward (New 1.2.0)

Config File - Added by Window Storage Lib - Recommend Config Lib and Auto Config Lib to allow mod settings to be changed in game

  • Can use the config lib menu to change any configs in game
  • Universal Rain on Window Volume — 0 (Off) to 10 (Loud)
  • Universal Rain Sound Range — 1 to 64 blocks
  • Universal Animation Speed — 1 (Very Slow) to 5 (Very Fast)
  • Universal Slot Rotation Degrees — 5 to 90
  • Universal Slot Stagger Strength — 1 (Subtle) to 5 (Strong)

 

 

Made this as an alternative to my Window Storage Mod for those that just want vanilla but would like some handy storage.

Feature complete at this point in time, have tried to add more but I am limited by what can be done so this is the best I can get it at the moment

Changes
Have added variants for Unleaded Windows (Plain Only) - does not work with Vanilla Varnished for plain windows. Wildcraft and Vanilla work fine.


Features I couldn't implement
Unable to add particles to items like candles as I couldn't find a way to make them show in the right area due to the size changes of items
Removed the perish rate timer as couldn't get it to be accurate, items still perish at the appropriate rate and it still says what the rate multipler is

This is such a good mod! I always hate the wattle window stage but having storage makes it so much better. I have both this mod and the original window mod and they both work wonderfully in 1.22.0 rc.3. You're amazing at this. I will buy you a coffee as soon as I can. <3

KiriRae Mod version 1.5.45 which is for 1.21.6 has that, only for plain glass tho. Might add more glass in 1.22 version of the mod.

I can't seem to get paintings to show up the way they show up in the pictures youi have up for the mod, they want to place full sized and sideways instead of sitting nicely the way they are in the pictures. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Just FYI, I'm getting this error on 1.0.0 and 1.0.1:
[Error] Grid Recipe 'vanillapanestorage:recipes/grid/vanillapanestorage.json': Output Block code vanillapanestorage:vanillapanestorage-{wood}-plain-unlit-north cannot be resolved
