Latest release (for Vintage Story 1.22.0-pre.1 - 1.22.4, potentially outdated):
TransmittanceV1.0.1.zip 1-click install
Sunlight passing through any colored transparent blocks will cast tinted light. Also works with partially opaque objects such as the leaded window panes.
Technically a shadow pass so this requires shadows to be turned on.
Configurable through editing the file in ModConfig/transmittance.yaml or Config Lib
Might not work with some shader mods.

added config. editable in /ModConfig/transmittance.yaml or through Config Lib Changed a bunch of internal stuff for light calculations. By default the mod is configured to be somewhat accurate to the block tint. | |||||||

This mod is pretty awesome at what it does, thank you for making this! I'm spotting barely any performance impact. The combination with SheyderMod produces especially cool effects.
Does it have performance cost, and is it compatible with salty's immersive lighting?
Very minimal performance cost. idk about compat. I don't use that mod so try it and report back.
Would it work with the colored windows from https://mods.vintagestory.at/apewindows ?
yeah
You are a saint!
Haha, I abandoned a mod just like this xD Nice work

Is it client side only or does it need to be installed on the server too?
client side
I love you <3
For anyone curious - works with sheyder mod :)
Tinted light on the ground is either red/pink/orange or green in two different shades. Smoky glass gives very faint, grey shadow :(
edit: after further testing - sort of works:
Seems like it's like that on grass only in vanilla from limited testing, works fine on other materials. I'll check further later. Doesn't seem like a shader issue to me, probably something colormap dependent.
Oh, was pretty sure it's just shader issue. Thanks for the update!
Wow! Does it work with partially chiseled glass, or more than one color in a single block?
Yes
