By harnessing the time and space warping properties within temporal gears you can now craft temporaly enhanced containers !
Currently implemented :
- Temporal Bucket
This bucket uses space warping properties of a gear plate and alloy to hold 50L instead of 10. Portions are 1L so it can be used for cooking.
Also allows you to drink the whole 50L of wine... drink responsibly Seraph !
To be added
- Temporal Barrels
Barrels used in crafting pickeled veggies , preserved meats etc capable of holding 2x the contents - Adagio / Allegro Barrels
These barrels hold the normal amount of a barrel but their curing/ageing speed is modified to be faster or slower than normal
New items will be added once I learn how the barrel crafting itself works as I want to have the barrels and bucket be crafted with planks that have been soaked and treated in a solution of crushed temporal gears and other things.
ATM the recipe of the bucket is the same as a normal bucket but with the empty spaces filled by temporal gears, this WILL change

I cant make new water sources using the temporal bucket
TerraCotia yes, getting into barrel crafting recipes, barrels and some coding that I need to get into but cant find the time to fully do so. Its on my list of wanting to do before long.
Barrel stacking will probably for base barrels go into my QoL mod and those will stack to 5
Part of the crafting recipe stuff is getting the patching system in place and understood so it can switch between recipes depending if Expanded Matter is installed or not
I love this idea! Any chance the buckets and barrels stack above 4 and 1 respectively?
What is it about barrel crafting that is holding you back from adding those features? Oh! I think I read your comment wrong - it isn't the recipe for crafting barrels that is unclear, its how the recipe system used for crafting inside a barrel works, yes?
That... is a super cool idea! Have you tested this with Vanilla Variants and similar? I assume it would work, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Yeah I thought of them too but I think I will need at that point expanded matter as a dependency since it adds temporal powder which I plan to use for the crafting of planks and the coating for the clay vessel
A temporal clay vessel or chest might also be interesting for storage purposes
