Tamables: Critters

Adds PetAI taming to supported animals from Hieronymus’s Reptiles Collection, The Critters Pack, and More Animals. For anyone who looked at a small lizard and immediately wanted custody.

What taming adds

Supported animals become owned PetAI pets with follow, stay, and other normal pet commands. Dedicated tame variants keep ownership through growth and breeding while leaving the source mod’s wild animals and spawning alone. Foods and trough support follow the supported animal’s diet.

Eggs cannot be tamed directly. Flying and amphibious animals have movement handling suited to them, though feeding something that will not stay on the ground can still be awkward.

Settings

In ModConfig/TamablesCritters.json, TamingStage defaults to Any. Choose Young (or Baby) for young animals only, or Adult for adults only.

Only the animals listed here are covered.
