Help/Contact Guide
If you encounter any problems or have feature requests, please report them through proper channels:
- If the mod page has Homepage or Issue tracker tabs, click it and post there
-
- The Homepage link is usually one to the Discord thread, so you might need to join in the VS official Discord server first
- Some Homepage links are ones for other mods, but post there anyway; the thread is shared between some mods to avoid balooning the number of channels
- Or post in the official web forum and ping me
These methods make it easier for me to track and respond.
Mod DB comments are not a suitable place for this, especially for bug reports.
Insufficent bug reports in the comments will be deleted without notice.
That said it's nice to have a super lightweight messaging system to authors.
I really appreciate all the encouraging comments :)
First, try finding a license applied to the mod. It should be in the mod zip or in the source repo.
(When I'm too lazy, I might declare a license in the Mod DB page. It's not ideal, but it's also valid)
If you find one, follow it.
If there's no license, it's all rights reserved. So, please ask me.
I might give permission, depending on the situation.
Without permission, mods without liceses are all rights reserved, so reuploading (edited or not) is not allowed.
This doesn't change even if you write anything in the Mod DB page.
Sentences like "All original design and assets belong to..." or "I'll delete this if the author requires" don't grant you any permission.
Mononospace?
I'm slowly moving the name of my dev activities to a new "Mononospace" project name.
Don't worry, nothing has changed about who develops these mods :)
At the moment I only have a logo image and no landing page or anything nice yet (Hashnode marked it as spam :D)
