Optional source modules
The compatibility pack does not bundle the source animals. A model only appears when its matching source mod is installed.
Playable Animalica compatibility for a frankly unreasonable amount of Fauna of the Stone Age.
This is an optional compatibility bridge. The source animal mods remain their own mods; Animalica adds playable-model integration around them when those source modules are installed.
Install whichever FotSA modules you actually use. The supported parent modules are:
There are 151 selectable entries in this pack. Turning the ModDB description into several screens of species names and repeated stat blocks would make it less useful, not more.
The compatibility pack does not bundle the source animals. A model only appears when its matching source mod is installed.
Supported source animals become selectable PlayerModelLib character models through Animalica's compatibility layer.
The bridge supplies the Animalica-side clothing anchors, playable animation handling, and first-person integration needed by the supported bodies.
Where a compatibility model has Animalica traits assigned, it uses Core's Balanced / Distinct / Wild species-trait system and Animalica diet rules.
Exact body/animation matches can share a Species / Skin selector instead of creating unnecessary duplicate top-level character entries.
Animalica is providing the playable-model bridge. It is not replacing or redistributing the parent animal mod itself.
Requires Animalica Core and PlayerModelLib, plus whichever source module(s) you actually want to use.
The public Discord is where I post updates, dev builds, previews, and whatever I’m currently poking at. It’s also a place for questions, feedback, bug reports, compatibility talk, or just hanging around with other people using the mods. I help where I can, but it’s not just a support server.

Im not at home to check but the mobility mod probably uses the ladder climb animation for its climbing so could you just make the genets use there walk animation but flipped vertical for ladders or is that not possible
i offer no promises, but i'll try. Check when you can, though!
Alright thank you either way for taking the time to try I'll check and let you know later
Ok so after testing the mobility mod does indeed use the ladder climbing animation for its free climbing
darn. i'll see what I can do with it, then.
I appreciate it, honest it works great with your fox animation. But I absolutely adore genets and would love be able to play as and climb with them with proper animation. If you can't pull it off no worries. Either way I'll be sending you a donation next Thursday when I get paid I really enjoy all your mods and you deserve it for the work you have done already
Don't donate as a 'pls', donate as a 'thank you'. I will do what I can payment or no!
It is a thank you the animalica mods are awesome but I'd pay any price to be a genet living in a tree lol
Added! with climbing!
Thank you!
Could you possibly add Viverridae to this pack please I love genets and civets
added to the hit list!
Thank you
So I noticed that the vanilla fox from your canids pack has an actual climbing animation when used with the mobility mod if you add the genets and civets would it be possible to have something similar even if its just a vertical walk animation it would be so cool to climb trees as a genet
Assuming the animation was the ladder climb animation I had made, probably not. The models can use seraph animations and sometimes it works, so let's just hope it's that instead of the ladder climb animation
Got them to do a climbing animation! the only thing I need to tinker with is the held item height/size/etc. they are whack and im trying to make it less... impossible to see.
Nice! I'm super excited to try it out

Using 1.22.0-pre.4 - 1.22.0-rc.1 of the caninae mod and all canines only have the animal body tools trait.
I have not added traits for them yet. I was focused on getting them out first, then refined later
Oh aight
This has been fixed now!
Many thanks!
