Beneath emerald canopies older than kingdoms, where roots drink from forgotten waters and moonlight lingers between the leaves, the Ghael Dan Sentinels keep their eternal watch.

They are neither wholly wild nor wholly forged by craft. Living wood grows through tempered steel, ancient vines coil around humming engines, and cold metal plates bear the marks of both the forge and the forest.

When the balance of the world is threatened, they step from the green shadows without warning. Silent as stalking stags, relentless as the turning seasons, they advance beneath banners woven from leaf, bark, and iron.

The forest walks with them.

The old spirits guide them.

And where their ranks appear among the trees, the wilderness itself seems to awaken, judging all who dare trespass upon its sacred domain.

Welcome to another small entry to series of mods that begun its existence thanks to you guys!
The armors from "Echoes of the Lens" comes from all possible and impossible inspirations. From steampunk through pure fantasy into far futuristic .. basically any fiction of any kind, or just pure fabricated designs.

I wanted to make it separate from the "Forgotten Armory" series to not mix the themes of SOME historic inspiration with pure and total fiction thats going to be presented here.

Most of the mods might be of smaller scope than usual and a lot of them might come from commisions.

The principle of the mods is very simmilar to the Forgotten Armory. Get the schematic, remake the vanilla armor.

Compatibilities:
Kobold Player Model Redux
Meteoric Steel

Hope you enjoy!

This mod was made thanks to the commision from Diahs and companions! They were so generous they let me publish this for all of us to enjoy! Massive credit to them, and many thanks for feedback during creation of this mod!

How hard would it be to make a compatability patch for this with the Lupine model mod?

AladarCZ , Jun 14th at 12:24 PM

Stason4ikRU dont plan to make it lizardfolk compatible. Ill check out the problem with Synthetic Noble, thanks for the report

Stason4ikRU, Jun 13th at 10:23 AM

Do you have the option to make compatibility with the lizardfolk mod? Also in Echoes of the Lens: Synthetic Noble: why does kobold compatibility not work.

I am getting the following errors:

Digging into the files, it looks like a variantgroup for textile has been declared, which has "none" as they only variant..while in texturesByType "textile" is looking for "block/textiles/textile{textile}".. which is making it look for block/textiles/textilenone (which doesn't exist). If you're not needing that variant group, it may be an idea to delete that group? or include the nothing texture. You'd know best LOL

Love all your armour mods by the way ⭐

RumpleRatskin Not really, im open to pretty much anything :-) I do have plans to expand outside the full plate, it will just take time, or someone to commision it :-)

RumpleRatskin, Jun 10th at 11:16 PM

I got a question

Can you only really model/create strictly plate/plate-adjacent armours or can you do other types as well. I assume you can but these armours are designed to be more functional showpieces and often are set in univeres/fictional inspirations in which steel has been made maliable i.e. medieval to early 20th century.

I would deeply love to see two interesting armour types as a reccomendation..

  • Firstly, some form of early-game armour akin to crafting makeshift bone/firewood armour. Could be a sort of tribal/ancient-esc inspiration such as the Haradrim from Tolkein's writings.
  • Secondly, a sort-of mini-armour pack which would coenside with some of the armours or themes.
    • An example of this would be the Sellswords of Reikland where it would allow you to craft a new form of leather jerkin with a singular chestplate and a medieval-esc beret. Likely difficult but could act as a sort of access/expansion but also would likely be easier for not only you to model as you could simply reuse models such as modifiying existing red leather jerkin and plate models but also for the player, especially in servers, would be able to join together with their respective armours such as a Reikland knight leading a group of arqebus handgunners and such.

In my ramblings, i seem rather on the nose that i would really like these ideas but i stress significantly that i am not demanding or even truly requesting, i merely have a certain writing style which influences my opinions and ideas and therefore, i do not require you to heed nor lambast my comments or ideas as i will assuredly not take you as the guilty party.
