Ironcraft Professions
Ironcraft Professions is a customized collection of professions and class reworks created specifically for the Ironcraft server, designed to expand roleplay, trade, craftsmanship, and settlement progression within Vintage Story.
Rather than simple starter bonuses, professions are intended to become meaningful long-term identities that encourage specialization, player cooperation, regional economies, and community building.
Each profession focuses on a unique role within the world:
- Blacksmiths forge tools, metal goods, and industrial equipment.
- Potters specialize in ceramics, porcelain, glazing, kilns, and decorative infrastructure.
- Stone Masons shape roads, fortifications, masonry, and monumental architecture.
- Carpenters craft structural woodwork, furnishings, and interior construction.
- Physicians provide advanced healing, medicine, and medical support.
- Beekeepers manage advanced apiaries and specialized hive systems.
- Merchants support trade, commerce, and Coinage minting.
- Cooks prepare meals, preserved foods, and tavern supplies.
- Foresters, Farmers, Miners, Rangers, Artisans, Lore Keepers, Tinkers, and Alchemists all provide their own unique specialties and gameplay paths.
Ironcraft Professions aims to create a living world where settlements rely on skilled professions and players naturally depend on one another for resources, infrastructure, luxury goods, and specialized crafts.
Features include:
- Profession-based gameplay and progression
- RP-focused class identities
- Profession-exclusive crafting recipes
- Custom balancing and specialization systems
- Expanded crafting and infrastructure roles
- Integration support for major server mods
- Economy and settlement-focused design
- Server-tailored class adjustments and compatibility patches
This mod is built specifically around the gameplay style and long-term vision of the Ironcraft server, with an emphasis on immersion, specialization, trade, and collaborative worldbuilding.
Forge your profession. Build your settlement. Leave your mark upon the world.

Are there any issues with just using this as a normal class mod, or are there certain server dependencies that prevent that from happening?
