ChTurtles Heya, I'm doing a bit of a rewrite, adding a few things and it will be totally configurable. Couple of weeks out yet but it's coming for sure :)
Can we get a config? Auto step-up gets really annoying when I keep stepping up my chests and counters.
I really love this mod and posted a few videos on TikTok about it. People love it and I do too. The only issue is that a few servers I help test on have Terrain Slabs. Apparently it doesn't play well with that mod. Would be great if it was compatible. Love being able to climb easily out of holes and traversing mountains. LaChaDerp This mod is really developed for a server and it's configured just how they want it, I just wanted to share it if anyone liked it and wants to use it as is. I will only be changing the mod if it is requested by the server. I am probably going to release a separate version that just does the step up, auto walk and run only in the next couple of weeks, when I drop that I will message you :)
Okay sounds good! Was asking for a server I'm helping creatively and testing for. A lot of people like your mod that I've shown. They like everything the way it's now. Like the way the setting are right now is perfect! In my opinion but I was just told it wasn't working with slab terrain. Though I haven't tested those two together myself. Was trying to convince the staff to use it on the server lol. Even so it will always be my go to mod for my own world. Thank you for responding and look forward to updates.
Is it possible to add a config? I would just like to turn off climbing while still being able to "step up".
This is would be the ultimate mobility mod if it also included crawling as an option!
Critcher is a fantastic modder and 100% think that is something that could be added.
Doesn't seem to play well with Terrain Slabs - you can climb but can't pull up to the top if there's a slab there instead of a block.
Very sorry everyone who has already downloaded, we play rough and let our predators and monsters climb too :) That is enabled in your version, you may not enjoy that!
New upload prevents monsters and bears from climbing up after you :)
LunaGore It does include trees, and I don't think I will be adding crawling. I think that Salty did a crawling mod, but not really my thing.
Also fun note, don't turn around to look while you are climbing that tree, you must face the surface and if you turn around, I assume you want to let go :)
Does climbing include trees? Also are you considering adding crawl as an option?
OlafGunnerson It requires no input from you, everything just works, except autorun/walk needs you to press O, but otherwise to climb, walk up to it and climb, to grab a ledge jump at it and you will grab it, etc. And step up is automatic of course :)
How does this compare to mods like Verticality or Salty's Movement series? The less keyboard inputs needed the better, since I'm intent on running a heavily modded playthrough.
