/kick all_lore_mobs straight back into the tunnels where they can eat rocks for eternity. No more bow torn treating you like a blocky target dummy, or drifters touching you in places you don't agree to just because the sun went down. Affects light levels (must be nearly pitch black now) and height (must be somewhat underground).

Shiver, Bowtorn, Drifter spawning conditions:
Must be below ANY light level 3 (sunlight, block light, mob light, all must be 2 or lower)
Must be a bit below sea level or deeper (can not be on surface).
DOES NOT:
Affect any spawning related to ruins, dungeons, events, or areas
Affect rift spawning (those are different types of spawns)
Affect temporal storms in any way
Affect ANY non-natural spawning mechanic
Affect any invented reason for a monster spawning that is not related explicitly to natural height and darkness
Affect any yet to be invented reason for monster spawning that is not related explicitly to natural height and darkness
Cook you breakfast in the morning
Cheat on you
Steal your second favorite pair of shoes
Feed your cat the good quality canned food so that your cat haunts you every time you open an unrelated can

Does this mod effect better ruins enemy spawns?
No. It affects nothing but natural darkness and height spawning conditions.

i play 1.22.1 version and it says it cannot load it requires 1.22.2
I'll make it viable for all versions of 1.22.0+
If I wanted just the height or just the light restriction, is there a config to do that?
It's a content mod, not data. Can't generate configs.
But also, it's a simple 3 .json file. You can just pop it open with 7zip or any archive tool (winrar), go to the file, open it, adjust, and pop it back in. No need to overthink things.
Yeah, I realized that after I opened it to check it out.
i see that it doesn't prevent rifts from spawning enemies, but does this effect spawns during temporal storms, or does it ONLY effect the normal Shiver, Bowtorn and Drifter?
It looks like a perfect mod for what i want, but i don't want anything that nerfs temporal storms.
Doesn't affect temporal storms at all. Nor rifts. Nor anything but light level based spawning, and height spawning. Which are two mechanics that overlap but are not used the same way for rift spawns.
Only affects shivers, bowtorn, and drifters. Bells are already height locked.
How does this work with rifts?
