I know this doesn't work for 1.22.X. I have no clue why, and don't have time at the moment to go back through rcs to figure out where it broke.

I was frustrated that you couldn't rewet clay via soaking it in water like in real life, so I learned how to make a .json based mod just to make that possible.

The gist of the mod is, you make a vessel, or some bricks, or an oven, and you later realize you don't need it! Luckily for you, if you haven't fired your clayform yet, you can turn it back into useable material just by adding water!

Right now, it is very basic, and only works with the base game clayforms. In it's current state, everything takes 8 hours to soak, which isn't completely realistic when you have a small crucible vs a massive oven. I plan on updating that in the future, when I have time. Probably over the summer.

You get back exactly the amount of clay you put in. If an object took 2 clay to make, you get 2 clay back. In the case of ingot molds, I rounded down, so you get 2 clay instead of the impossible 2.5 if you made two ingots at once. With shingles, when you create them, you make 12. This does not easily split when the clay used is 4. So, if you plan on recycling your shingles, you have to put in at least 3 at a time.

The amount of water required for each item varies, and will be consumed when you are done. The water is consumed because if left alone, then you could potentially use it for making other things, and no one in real life is going to make leather in clay water. That's just weird. The amount of water required for each item is calculated based on the amount of clay used for the item. For every 10 clay used in the creation of an item, 5l of water is needed. So, a set of 12 shingles needs 5l of water, even though it only uses 4 clay to craft. A set of 3 shingles also needs 5l of water, because the required water can't go any lower than that.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. If there are any specific mods that you want to be added in compat, please let me know. I may not be able to get to them in a timely manner, but I don't mind working on it slowly over time. Please let me know if you run into any issues regarding vanilla clayforms. I think I caught all of them, but I may have missed some.
