For testers (for Vintage Story 1.22.0-rc.2 - 1.22.0-rc.7):
Vanillapluspatch.zip  1-click install

Overhauls the vanilla world generation to a much more realistic and smoother one, while maintaining the vanilla landform diversity.

Original by vevi33 - check out the details here.

Patched by Zaldarr for 1.22. I have no clue what I'm doing - I studied humanities instead of learning to code. Just trying to make this accessible to others. Please feel free to help or fork it! Compatible with the excellent Algernon's Watersheds

MiraLeaps all this mod does is edit the world gen values in the vanilla json to be less horrendously noisy. It's nice and compat like that.

Vilderos I've not seen any in my travels - this mod shouldn't affect traders and their spawns at all.

I think this mod is causing traderhouses to spawn a bit above ground

IssaDwarf Vilderos thanks for the comments. I did't make it but I'm glad you enjoy it. Be sure to check out the original page for info about it.

Looks beautiful to me, going to give it a test run right now.

edited: It's almost vanilla, just less broken. Exactly what I was looking for. Well done! Thank you very much for taking the time to jump into more code than I was willing to do :D
