Blush & Blacksmith
A custom metals expansion for Vintage Story focused on progression, unique crafting paths, decorative content, and endgame gear.

Recent addition of ARL may cause some items to break. You can go into creative and spawn them back in, or just remake them

Disclaimer: This mod is still actively being expanded and adjusted. Some mechanics, balance values, textures, progression methods, and compatibility notes may change over time.
Please keep in mind this is a POST steel mod, it isn't meant to be easy, it's meant to be time consuming, and rewardful. If you're looking for fast progression this isn't for you.

New Tools / Weapons
Rotwalker
Rotwalker swords come in MANY many, different variants. You can customize them how you please, with a different blade, guard, and handle. Note that weapon stats are tied directly to the blade itself, and when using the retexture table, only the blade color will change.
Daggers
Similar to the swords, except you can only customize the handle and blade.
Shurikens
Stackable, throwable, do a decent little bit of damage. Chance to break similar to arrows, but much more fun!

Totem
Cobalt Stability: 50% chance to lose durability on tools/armor in chunk.
Temporal Resonance: Own gains temporal stability 50% faster in chunk.
Gravity Boots
- Allows player to Jump 3 blocks
- Slower falling
- No fall damage

         

Pyrelle

  Totem

  Smelter's Blessing: Forge fuel burns 50% slower in chunk.

  Kiln Rush: Pit kiln and beehive kiln processing is 20% faster in chunk.

Thermal Compass

- Shows path to nearest translocator

- 1hr cooldown

Amethyne

  Totem

  Echoing Prism: Cooked food/meal in chunk gets +100 satiety bonus attribute.

  Prismatic Feast: Small periodic healing bonus for players in chunk.

  Resonance Tuner

  - Scan for graded ores in a 32x32 (max Y) area

  - 20s highlight

  - 60s cooldown

Redsunder

  Totem

  Crimson Rupture: Players in chunk deal 20% more damage.

  Bloodfury: Players in chunk take 20% less damage.

  Blood Bracelet

  - 2x damage for 15s

  - Each kill grants 1hp

  - 24hr cooldown

Golden Dawn: In cold conditions, applies +10C crop temp support and player warmth support.
Solar Powered Stove
- Powered By the sun
- No fuel or torch needed
- Only used for cooking food

Petal's Grace: Food perish/spoilage rate reduced by 20% in chunk.

Apiary Bloom: Honeycomb drops from skeps are doubled in chunk.

Bloomcall Chime

- Instantly impregnate mammals in a 32x32 radius

- 7 day cool down

Ocean's Favor: 25% chance to duplicate fish catch.

Frostwake: Lake ice in chunk is forced to tick and thaw toward water.

  Snorkel

- Charged with temporal gears

- 5 minutes per gear

- See and breathe underwater

Growth Catalyst: Crop growth timing accelerates in chunk.

Harvest Surge: Crop/berry/fruit harvest drops are doubled in chunk.

- Place and all crops in a 32x32 instantly grow to full size
- 24 hour cooldown
- does not bypass potential penalties (ex: dying to cold weather)

Shadow Mantle: Night-vision style visual boost at low daylight.

Dread Veil: 30% fewer hostile spawns in chunk.

Veilstep Charm

- Prevents all incoming damage

- 30s "spectator" mode

- Puts you into fly mode

- 1hr cooldown

Infinite Edge: 25% chance to instantly satisfy anvil recipe voxel layout.

Mirrorcraft: 5% chance to double crafting output.

Unbreaking Flow: Durability loss reduced by 50% in chunk.

Duplication Chamber

- Inserted item/stack will duplicate after 7 in-game days.

- Once process has started it cannot be stopped

Reskin Table
Ever want to change just the color of your tools/armor, loved the stats but wanted a specific look. Well here you go!

Late game manner of lighting things, no more stacks of torches just to constantly place and lose them somewhere.
 
Crowns
Helmet options, same stats and similar recipe as their respective counter parts. Credit to @MoldMuncher for the hard work on these tiaras!

Ingot Display/ Storage
Can be configured by server admins, either displays 1 ingot, or can store a determined amount at a time.
Vial Display
Who knows what liquid you want to show off, that's a you thing.
Lock Display
They hardly get used anyway, may as well show off your collection.
Tool Display
Will only hold 1 metal type at a time, but fun way to show off your progress!
Powder Display/Storage
Holds all your powdered/Calcinated/crushed items

Currently I don't have a ton of future plans. I've spent a couple months, day and night, sweat and tears, on this mod. I started with minimal knowledge of C#, because of this I have had many, many hurdles. I am so proud of how far its come, and I am so excited to work on it more in the future. As of right now, bug fixes and compatability are my main focus.

Any chance that you could add a config to disable the item duplicator? I added this to a server and I'm actually terrified that it'll destory progress once players get around to making one.

Hello there , in v 1.22.2 we have some trouble with the tiara , i can get it from the creative inventory fine and even wear it , but if i toss it to someone and they pick it up all player around this player will crash immediatly , without crash log saddly.
sole solution to it is clearinv of said player.

Saddly i had to many other issue with other mods too so my logs doesn't archive more than 5 time , so this crash doesn't have server logs anymore , i'll attempt to redo it later for you and save it.

sorry it was the blush tiara.
the crash is very similar to one we have with draconis. it's a conflic between one item ( draconis is the harness , your is the tiara ) and the fact that the huge backpack of FendragonBCS was equiped on the player receving the said item.
cause at some point i had the tiara in hand no worry , and the next i've tossed it to another player who had the backpack equiped and we both did crash.
sorry the log are still buried as my server is still running with other mods.

Mod is good but I seen it may have incompatibility with Expanded matter since both have their own version of crushed Obsidian what may cancel each other out.

Yes I have an update ill be pushing out soon with the fix, forgot to commit it when I had added the compatability previously, so it got lost in the recent one

Hi there,

 

We are encountering lag when someone logs in with the Blush mod suite; there is a block scanner that replaces old versions of the blocks that lag everyone on the server when someone logs in and it fires. We have had to disable the mods temporarily, but we love them! Hopefully we can get that fixed soon. <3 If you need logs at all, please let me know.

Yes it does add arrows! Ill look into compatability for quivers and sheathes! I didnt really think about that haha, but the arrows should do just fine in there!

I'm going to ask over on that mod page as well just in case but: do you happen to know if this mod will work with Interesting Ore Gen? I really want to use both and have both active on my SP world but I'm nowhere near ready to even start looking for your ores to know if they're generated at all with IOG

I was unable to even get a world to render, maybe install "Block Overlay", see if you can find them with that, itll show you, you just enable my ores and fly around a bit!

I was looking at the new options using the creative inventory menu. I noticed a few of the new metal daggers had a line of text that read like it was an enchantment, can I get a rundown on what these effects do? The aureline knife having something called Daylight Boost for example

Compatability has been added for the toolsmith fork, once toolsmith updates ill swap it over! This does not include the rotwalker swords/daggers since those have custom handles, but all tools are included.

Of course! I will be pushing out just 1 more update to the Blush Library mod here within a couple hours so be sure to look out for that since it fixes an issue with barrel recipes

Hey got a tiny issue some of the items doesn't have a crafting recipe, so far it's the Open Vial, Alchemy Station, and the Tannin-soaked firewood.

Quartzz yes! Be on the lookout for blush and bins!

It will have the blush lib as an optional dependancy if you wanted the metals they would be compatible! Hopefully will have it out in the next 24 hours!

Combat Overhaul has not been updated for 1.22, due to this I can not make the mod compatible as of yet, doing so would be a waste of time since it is very likely CO is going to have major changes in the way it works once Maltiez does update. Please bear with me and know that the moment he does update it, I will be working on pushing out compatibility!

That1Mexican planned for the future for sure!! Just very complicated time consuming, probably why a lot of modders delay on doing it.
