This is a Patch Mod that adds advanced coded features!

This a Patch Mod that NEEDS Aldi's Classes (Always use the newest version!) and Attribute Rendering Library!

This is a Patch because I wanted to keep code features seperated from the main mod for compatibility reasons.

For server owners:

Through attribute rendering library the code is optimized to not stress servers.

 

Have a look at the additions:

Rucksack

There may be 26k variations but you can only wear one at a time!

So make it count and express yourself!

1 of 9 embraced quartz and 1 of 12 bedrolls can be attached to this backpack

Switch between different bedroll and embraced quartz colors to your liking

Of course the backpack glows in the corresponding embraced quartz light!

Blacksmith gloves

these let you hold any hot item without tongs! A must have for any blacksmith. Comes in every leather color available!

Resonant anchor

This is the dream of every hardcore miner. Get rid of your unwanted stones AND restore temporal stability! You will love the animation when consuming these.

Lunchbox

This item is a permanent upgrade to your personal rucksack. It adds 2 cooling slots that decrease perishing speed by 50%!

 

Planned features
  • Dynamically filling backpacks (firewood frame, foragers backpack)
  • Rotating cosmetic embraced quartz variant for even better chiseling
  • idk, what else??
Issues
Tungsten is interferring with some features. Use this command to make it work again "/tungsten servermainlinqoptimization off" Version 1.2.1 of Tungsten fixes this bug!

 

Please report any compatibility issues and bugs!

Please don't forget that if you remove this patch, the rucksacks will be broken, so prepare ingame before removing!

Extremely cool new additions!

  • The blacksmith gloves make their comeback!
    • Smiths can craft them. They came up with the idea after the got too annoyed with using tongs.
    • They let you hold hot items without tongs
  • A stone compressed by sheer force, defying the boundaries of time and space - the Resonant anchor!
    • Prospectors realized if they compress a whole stack of stones into one they create a volatile but useful entity
    • Restores 50% temporal stability but should be consumed fast because after 1 hour of existing it just vanished into thin air
  • A new permanent addition to the rucksack: a lunch box!
    • Everyone can smith and craft this lunch box out of the finest meteoric iron
    • Add it to the Rucksack by shift+rightclicking to permanentely add 2 cooling slots to the inventory that have a permanent 50% perish speed reduction

Loving this mod. My buddies and I have been able to create all parts at this point. Not sure if this is intended but crocks cannot be put into the lunch box. Admittedly I have not tried individual bowls but thought I would mention it just in case. I don't mind either way personally.

Hello! I'm trying to make the bedrolls for the rucksack, but the recipe says it requires the Threadweaver trait. My class is Threadweaver, but I can't make the bedroll even with all the required ingredients. Is it supposed to require the Clothier trait instead? Thank you for making all these mods!

hmm for me everything looks and works fine. Maybe you could send me a screenshot of it? Maybe you're using mods like tailors delight and you're using the "wrong" cloth or something

Here you go, you can see here I'm trying to make the black bedroll. Making the sewing kit works just fine, but I can't make this bedroll!

hmm wild guess but maybe because of multiclass...were you able to make flax fiber as a threadweaver?

heh if you lurk through the files you should have noticed that the blacksmith gloves, resonant anchor, rucksack and lunchbox are disabled in the main mod and this patch mod enables them ;)

It's handled like this to make my life easier. Yes you need this patch mod to have the items and features :)

Having trouble with the blacksmith gloves. No recipe is currently present in the survival guide and the item is nowhere to be seen in creative mode. All the other items from the mod show up and are working. Any idea what's causing this?

The rucksack light doesn't work about 50% of the time. I tried taking it off and putting it back on again (both the rucksack and the light stone thing), but it doesn't seem to change anything. Other people on the server see my rucksack light glow, but it doesn't for me. My guildmates report having the exact same issues. Any ideas why that might be and how to fix it?

as of now it's a vintage story issue that only servers have (and so far only big servers). Apparently it is related to lag and failing communication between server and client. So no, we couldn't find a solution for this as it looks like vs is the culprit itself. We will continue to improve the code though so maybe someday it magically disappears. sorry

Halixis look into assets\aldiclasses\patches\forager basket and have a look at the json patches. These files add a certain storageflag to items. (it has nothing to do with this mod, its in the main mod). You need to figure out how this patch file works and make new ones that patch the items with these storageflags. the storageflag basically tells the item what slot can hold it. Note: 33 is only the answer if there is NO storageflag existing in the item. otherwise its gonna get complicated and you have to add them (and i actually dont fully understand that myself)

If I want to edit the forager's packs to be able to carry more types of foraged items (berry bushes, wild grains, honeycomb, etc.) how would I do that? I'm newish to tinkering with mods and I can't seem to find a config for Aldis Classes or the advanced features patch. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hey there Aldi sorry to be bugging you on your modpage about this, but I haven't gotten a response on my forum post about it.  I'm trying to make my own backpack mod, but I can't get them to show up on the Seraph's back, how did you go about doing that?
