Quiver exists in the game, but is hidden/locked. Anyway, who need backpack slot occupied by quiver with additional 10 slots for stackable arrows?
This simple mod not only unlock quiver, but also add possibility to carry spears - now quiver is more useable.
Quiver is craftable only by Hunter class (or any class with bowyer trait). To switch off exclusive recipes following admin command is needed:

Spears are not stackable, threfore you are not wasting backpack slot, if you are going hunting.
Someone even complain, that this mod is overpowered, because you can carry 40 spears.
I agree, that quiver used as, let say, cloth slot, would be better solution, but this is hard to achieve without bugs and conflicts with other mods.
This mod seems like a bad idea. Why would I give up a bag slot that can hold a lot of everything to carry a bag that only allows me to carry two things. This would be a great thing if it allowed me to fit all my arrows and spears into one inventory slot, but it is a complete no go if it takes a bag slot.
NipTheMad you can put quiver in any backpack slot, like other backpack, or miner bag.

My bad, mod should be both client and server side, not only server side, I fixed it.
I also add alternative recipe, if vanilla recipe is still missing (for example, in older versions of the game).

Katzvielle it works or me fine in 1.21.5, maybe you are using some previous version of the game, where recipe was not yet added?
For example there is quiver, but not recipe, in 1.20.
i have class rescipes off but the book still wont show me how to make it.
those who use combat overhaul would say otherwise. though being able to make the quiver would be nice lol.
I found a quiver recently and was wondering who would waste a backpack slot for that. This makes it actually useful. Thanks
Still does not make sense to use it for arrows, but spear spam will be more convenient. That's 10 spears to throw... Yeah, with this mod this meta tactic will be even more op. Who needs steel falx when you can carry 10 stone spears.
