Yet another mod that adds a recipe for making salt by boiling seawater.
But this time I tried to make it (mostly) realistic but still balanced. Though I do realise the latter is subjective. 5L of seawater makes 1 salt now.
Here's how I worked it out:
Seawater on average contains 3.5% salt.
Brine used for pickling vegetables for winter traditionally contained around 8-10% salt. Less would make the preservation not effective enough, more would make the pickled product too salty to be edible.
In the game, 1x salt makes 2L brine; we don't touch this.
To make 2L of 9% brine, you would therefore need 1x salt, for which you should need 9÷3.5×2≈5L of seawater.
This also has the added convenience that a bucket carries 10L, so you can make 2x salt from 1x bucketful of seawater.

This mod is amazing, thank you so much!
Could you do the same thing with lime? I would be endlessly grateful for that!
