In late game, fire clay can be difficult to find or craft in large quantities. This mod adds another avenue based in science, via quartz. 1 crushed quartz can convert 2 clay to fire clay.
Additionally, sand and gravel can be crafted from crushed stone, which is a new item made just like crushing bauxite. You can use the new sand for either decoration or panning. This offers a use for the vast amounts of stones accumulated from mining.
