  • Avoids triggering on the first time your name is mentioned after login.

Flash color is saved in decimal not hex format, so it is difficult to correct the configuration before starting the game.

Newfie I'm looking to make a mod to ping players when a fellow member of their group joins the game. Would you mind making your mod open source?

flamescape I can get a update out for that :)

This is great. Would love if it was also case-insensitive.

description? what is mod for?

Looking forward to nicknames as well, but one thing to note with them, my name would be split into wild and forester by most people giving nicknames. There needs to be some way to determine the context of how the nickname is being said.

A simple method could be only pinging if there is no text preceding the nickname. Would make sense for most cases where people would start a sentence with your name with the question/text following.
Could also presume that if the nickname is at the end of a sentence with a comma preceding they are talking to you.

Besides that, does this work with @name sort of mentions? I've seen people try that (though VS has no built in support for it).

@captanredbeard it is planned to add the capability for nick names

Is it possible to add a specific word to get a a ping for in say a config file?

Like if someone uses a part of your server nickname or username in addition.
