The decorative vessel and chest from QP's Chisel Tools mod causes client-side crashes when you place them on sailboats. The boats will then keep on crashing anyone coming near them, until an admin executes a command to delete the offending entity (this can only be done while looking away from the entity). This is rather problematic for server staff, because people put these things on the boat all the time (by accident).
Until QP implements a proper fix, I have made a patch to prevent both decorative vessels and chests from being placed on sailboats.

I believe not, QP's chisel has fixed the issue
Forgive me, but is this still needed as of the 19th of August?

Wow, didn't knew about this issue, thanks for warning and the mod.
BTW, crates can be placed but not possible to interact with them, maybe it is wise to prevent placing vanilla crates on boat too?
