- Initial mod version with simple particle system to highlight items on the ground |
I updated, and I am using ImGui, but the config is not showing up, do I need to do something for it to work ?
U are the BEST. Love it. Thx
EPerboni you can now configure the distance at which the particles show up. I highly recomend the use of ConfigLib + ImGui if you want to also change the color of the particles.
EPerboni haven't added configuration yet.
Hello, how i change to 20 blocks highlightRange ?
Thanks for the toggle mode! I appreciate your work :)
So since several people wanted to have a continous mode i've added it as a simple shortcut "Ctrl + Shift + F". This should keep the effect always on. It still respects range and appearance (Particle frequency is a bit reduced but not significantly). Let me know if you find any issue with it.
is there a way to toggle them on to show all the time ?
love the update works perfectly haven't lost a arrow yet :D
OldManYells, It would be great to have such a feature.
mavman88 added support for Projectiles. I'm not having much time to work on the multiple things i have at hand so i kept it simple and it retains the same approach and range that other items have for now.
mavman88 will consider it.
i would love to suggest that if possible could you add arrow entities to the list because this method is so much easier to see than the glowing arrow's mod
PlayDenys do you mean having the shortcut toggle them on or off to keep them on all the time?
permanently enables/disables particles plys??
Arkathus noted. I need to fix the issue where whenever you move the effect stops but it shouldn't be a problem. Will most likely add that.
Uladentar i wanted to create a radius that wouldn't be to heavy on the client as i'm not sure how stressfull this can be but i'll definetly look into adding a range parameter but i may do some tests to create an hard limit or at least ensure that a warning is present to highlight that up a certain point it can be tolling on the client. But i guess that with a warning in place it's up to the user to use it responsably.
Honestly, almost exactly what I was looking for; the only thing that'd be better is if the radius was also configurable; I'm using the Acorns mod, and those suckers can really go flying! A lot of times, the 10-block radius doesn't seem to highlight them all...
How about adding a function that permanently enables/disables particles, like a switch?
By the way, I loved it — it's really good and truly helps a lot. I'm using it on 1.20.11 and it works perfectly. I would just like to be able to keep it always active (for example, pressing Shift+F so the particles stay on, but slightly reduced to avoid overloading), and if you want to deactivate it, just use the key combination again.
