Have you ever been farming your berries just to find out you had a full inventory and now you have to run around and figure out where all the berries are hidden?
Or chopping trees and couldn't find out where or if seeds/logs fell?

This is probably for you then 😀

Simply press and hold "Shift+F" and particles will appeart coming from items on the ground.

Request for Feedback: This is a WIP and your feedback is very much appreciated.

I updated, and I am using ImGui, but the config is not showing up, do I need to do something for it to work ?

💬 EPerboni, 2 days ago

U are the BEST. Love it. Thx

💬 OldManYells , 2 days ago

EPerboni you can now configure the distance at which the particles show up. I highly recomend the use of ConfigLib + ImGui if you want to also change the color of the particles.

💬 OldManYells , Jun 25th at 11:04 PM

EPerboni haven't added configuration yet.

Hello, how i change to 20 blocks highlightRange ?

💬 eerino, Jun 23rd at 3:33 PM

Thanks for the toggle mode! I appreciate your work :)

So since several people wanted to have a continous mode i've added it as a simple shortcut "Ctrl + Shift + F". This should keep the effect always on. It still respects range and appearance (Particle frequency is a bit reduced but not significantly). Let me know if you find any issue with it.

💬 Willownezz, Jun 22nd at 5:46 AM

is there a way to toggle them on to show all the time ?

💬 mavman88, Jun 21st at 11:30 PM

OldManYells, It would be great to have such a feature.

💬 OldManYells , Jun 21st at 8:50 AM

mavman88 added support for Projectiles. I'm not having much time to work on the multiple things i have at hand so i kept it simple and it retains the same approach and range that other items have for now.

💬 OldManYells , Jun 14th at 9:54 AM

mavman88 will consider it.

💬 mavman88, Jun 14th at 4:50 AM

i would love to suggest that if possible could you add arrow entities to the list because this method is so much easier to see than the glowing arrow's mod

💬 OldManYells , Jun 13th at 9:37 PM

PlayDenys do you mean having the shortcut toggle them on or off to keep them on all the time?

💬 PlayDenys, Jun 13th at 4:13 PM

permanently enables/disables particles plys??

💬 OldManYells , Jun 12th at 11:23 PM

Arkathus noted. I need to fix the issue where whenever you move the effect stops but it shouldn't be a problem. Will most likely add that.

Uladentar i wanted to create a radius that wouldn't be to heavy on the client as i'm not sure how stressfull this can be but i'll definetly look into adding a range parameter but i may do some tests to create an hard limit or at least ensure that a warning is present to highlight that up a certain point it can be tolling on the client. But i guess that with a warning in place it's up to the user to use it responsably.

💬 Uladentar, Jun 12th at 10:38 PM

Honestly, almost exactly what I was looking for; the only thing that'd be better is if the radius was also configurable; I'm using the Acorns mod, and those suckers can really go flying! A lot of times, the 10-block radius doesn't seem to highlight them all...

💬 Arkathus, Jun 12th at 10:36 PM

How about adding a function that permanently enables/disables particles, like a switch?

By the way, I loved it — it's really good and truly helps a lot. I'm using it on 1.20.11 and it works perfectly. I would just like to be able to keep it always active (for example, pressing Shift+F so the particles stay on, but slightly reduced to avoid overloading), and if you want to deactivate it, just use the key combination again.
