I found I was getting too much leather and needed parchment for other purposes. In vanilla you can turn small scrapped hides into parchment but not larger hides. Seemed weird that you could turn them all into equivalent leather but not equivalent parchment so I made a mod for that.  This mod just adds recipes to turn larger hides into smaller hides and to turn all scraped hides into a number of parchment equivalent to the amount of leather they would turn into.  These recipes use shears and do 1 tool durability damage as part of the craft.

In vanilla only small scraped hides can be turned into parchment at a rate of 1/1, the same as the small hide to leather workflow.  I added medium -> 2 small hides / scraped medium -> 2 parcment.  Ditto for large -> 3 and huge -> 5 outputs.

Update when looking at this again for 1.22.3:

At some point the base game added a recipie that takes a raw huge hide + sheers and turns it into clothing.  That overwrites my change for raw huge hides if you put the sheers and the hide next to each other in the crafting grid.  My recipie still comes through if there is space between the sheers and the raw huge hide.  The scrapped raw huge hide to parchment still works as it did before.  If I can figure out how to flag the previous build as supporting more versions I'll do that but it seemed to work fine when I booted up a fresh world and messed around with it.
