Makes the plate smithing recipe produce two plates, and makes plates melt into only one ingot as a result.

The problem is that you can use plates to smith other things like chains making it possible to make 2 ingots->2plates->2 chains->4 ingots.
While there is was an accidental infinite metal bug in this mod (turning plates into bits makes 2 ingots worth of bits, oops!), this mod does not touch chains in any capacity. It is likely you are using some other mod that multiplies the amount of chains you get from smithing. The base game smithing recipe requires two ingots for one chain, which melts into two ingots as a result.

hey man I think you forgot to account for chains. they still melt into 2 ingots of their metal. infinite metal glitch lol
