So if you want to crank up the spawns, you gotta change bytype triesperChunk, those one are for adults only(except for the female who comes with some bavbies), the worlgen spawncondtions not per type includes both babies and adults, but since the females also comes with babies, it effectively spawning way more babies. Hope that helps. 

I was messing around more - it seems like only babies spawn? At least for this one and the Spinosaurs.

I was messing with the global spawnrates for personal use, but even if I created an unholy flood of dinosaurs, they would only ever be babies, despite me not tooling with the spawnrates by type.

That's good hear, newly generated chunks will also spawn them if you already have world running(aside from spawning over time). I wanna keep the rate where it for now, I don't want a repeat of when people were spawning in and getting gank immediately by a trio of t-rexes over and over.

Thank you for updating! I booted it on a new world to check, and did find a natural spawn - they do feel pretty rare (one group in ~15 minutes of checking with flight and blockoverlay), but they are spawning.

Ok I've added their world gen spawn, so they spawn as part of the intital world generation, so it's not just the spawn over time. I highly recommend updating, if you are exploring finding barren dinoless land.

Let me know if I over did it with the amount of spawns, I only tested it for a bit.

Thanks for letting me know, I will remedy this, I think I know what the issue is, I will roll and update to fix this.

@sayakamui yeah same issue- i was at first thinking they just weren't in my area but it's been a bit of active checking with blockoverlay and nothing

i don't think the new update changed anything, either

is anyone else just not having ANY of the LotP animals spawning naturally? I'm only seeing smaller wildlife like rabbits and foxes

A little bit, maybe on some of them at least, but all in all, pretty damn good

I've ready made some adjustment prior in the last update, let me know if still too far foward.

Love the way these look, my only "complaint" (more feedback than a complaint) is that their arms shouldn't be stretched out forward so much like they are here. It should be a little bit more like these examples from prehistoric planet:
