This should be vanilla. It's so helpful. It's awesome for farming trees, just place a ladder on "every other block" of the trunk and right click with your shears while standing on the ladder when the tree is bald. This removes the ladder then you fall to the next one which is then removed as well until you're safely at the bottom.. Soooooo much easier to shear all your trees.

I wish it were possible remove a normal ladder, from the top down (opposite of rope ladder), by right clicking instead of having to break the entire thing.

This simply makes it so right clicking a rope ladder with a rope ladder makes it place a rope ladder instead of removing the lowest rope ladder. Without requiring a shift key. You can still shift key to place it or not, but you can only gather your rope with non-rope-ladder slots/empty hand. DecaByte

Just to clarify. The vanilla way to place rope ladder is still there, this just adds another option too?
