About
This mod introduces a diverse collection of Ankylosaurians to Vintage Story! From the famous Ankylosaurus to its lesser-known relatives, these prehistoric walking tanks live true their name, armored from head to tail.
Though they are herbivorous and relatively peaceful, getting in their personal space or provoking them, they will not hesitate to swing a crippling blow with their bone crushing tailclub at their aggressors.

Domestication
To hatch eggs, you simply place it down on the ground, they will hatch after sometimes. Important that the area is lit and also big enough for the baby dino to hatch into, it it is too small they will not hatch until there is more space.
Similarly growing will take and require enough space for them grow into their adult form.
Feeding adults, they are herbivorous, you use a large trough or throw the food on the ground, they require 70 portions.
They are friendlier(still might attack on occasion) after 2 generation, you can lead them by the rope after 2 geneations, peaceful after 10 geneations
Riding
Hitching Station
If have dinosaur mount that you want to stay put, you can craft a hitching station,
Simply place it down near your mount and it will stay close to it,
If the dinosaur is not domesticated or still too wild, it may knock down the hitching station

in 1.20.10, "entities/land/nest.json" is missing an end brace in "spawnconditionsByType" -> "*-euoplocephalus-nest-incubating"
laughinggas Oh really? Perfect then! Thanks for the advice, amigo! Really love these mods, by the way!

Yeah it's the problem with the vanilla taming code not quite being fully implemented (riding locked behind domestication). For now a stop gap solution you can do is to turn off riding by modifying the entity's json file, search for {"code": "rideable" and there's two instance of it, and in both change the true to false, when I release a new dino mod I'll whip up a Config lib setting so you can toggle it.
I'm sorry if I'm missing something about this series of mods, but I have the hardest time fighting all of these dinos when they attack me because say if an anky attacks me, I'll try to pull up my shield in a hurry to protect myself but if I look at the anky and block the next incoming attack, I instead mount it and that leaves me in a really vulnerable spot as I try to dismount it. I have to turn quick enough to face it and then try to block again before it attacks me but then I either get hit, or mount it again. The mounting range as well is also pretty absurd as it seems to be at the same range as most dinos attack range so defending against them is really harsh. Am I missing something in terms of being able to defend myself? At least with spears and similar weapons, I can stay out of their range and not worry about accidentally mounting them. I have Combat Overhaul installed but I think this was happening without it as well.

No worries, feed back is always good. I might have just forgotten to make the babies not aggro on the player, I will roll on the next update with it changed.
As a long time dino nerd I'm absolutely LIVING for your mods! Amazing models, great job all around!
My only concern however is that the babies - no matter the species it seems - chase and attack the player. This can be really immersion breaking when a tiny little anky comes charging you down and breaks your ankles while its mother is chasing after it and now you because you're too close. Is there an config somewhere to make the babies not aggro? It at least makes sense for the lil carnivores to be nasty but the herbivores?
(Please don't take that as criticism overall! I LOVE your mod suite anyway)
Can't wait to try it out later today. Thank you!
Woops, yes, it is the same as the Horned Crown
Nice mod but i'm guessing the domestication info's a bit off and that they follow the Horned Crown in the way you feed them?
I'm glad you like them
your models are just fenomenal =D I will download every mod you produce! lol
