All these sticks from firewood mods are great, but you know what's better? Firewood from sticks. The mod you always needed and have always been looking for. Allows you to turn sticks into firewood.

(In case it wasn't clear, this is a meme mod, but you are free to use it if you want this in your game)

I think the solution to that would be rather to change the firepit build recipe to sticks (as kindling) instead, and have it consequently burn out quickly if you don't add or swap the sticks to actual firewood or peat (yes, you can swap it once it is built, before it even is lit).

This mod is actually more logical than you admit, if we're naked and terrified in the dark with no tools there's no reason why we should have to chop down a whole ass tree just to build a campfire

I legit actually needed this mod and was thinking of creating it myself lol.
It always pains me when i travel with full inventory and need to make campfire to cook that random meat i get, but cant make campfire without throwing out half of my inventory so i can make axe, chop some tree, make firewood... but i always carry sticks around, so if i can use them for fuel, why cant i make fireplace with them in the first place?
