About
This mod introduces a diverse collection of powerful ceratopsians to Vintage Story! From the famous Triceratops to its lesser-known relatives, these prehistoric herbivores bring new challenges and opportunities for those who encounter them.
Though they are primarily herbivores, ceratopsians are far from passive. Many are territorial and will fiercely defend themselves, their herd, and their young. They may tolerate a cautious observer or will charge without hesitation. Study their behavior carefully—mistaking a peaceful grazer for an aggressive defender could be costly!

also is there a way to add a config for spawn quantity ? cuz I am getting a good amount of them spawning, and they die from running off cliffs making my meat hunting way to easy lol

Lol, I'll resize the horns since they are bigger than their actual size, but I can't recreate the 5x in your image, that's very strange.

I got a horn and placed it on the ground and the size it probably 5 times bigger than the dinosaur lol
What probably happened is that since I've added the new species, all t-rex only version vanish because of their different entity ID. It's unvoidable but shouldn't be an issue going forward unless I refactor the ID again in future for some reason.
Love this mod. Im not sure of cause but had a herd one of the folks on my server was taming vanish and figured Id bring it up. These animals are seriously cool though, great work especially on the audio for the babies, they sound adorable.

so this is a big ask but would it be possible for your next species to be Brachiosaurous or at the very least some form of sauropod? and if so is making them rideable a possibilty? because that would be freaking amazing!

Is it possible to lower the volume on their sounds and possibly frequency? They are very loud but other than that loving it!
These look great! friend loves seeing dinos in the game and I look forward to seeing more if that's your intent (haven't found a rex yet but definitely a goal). My only critique is just how loud they seem to be.
I'm not sure if its intended but these guys make a roar so loud that from about 100 - 150 blocks away it sounded like they were yelling from a few blocks away.
In terms of like, actual sound design though very good work. Don't wanna sound all negative.

But I have a question: when I hunt them and try to loot them with a knife, they don’t drop anything. Is this intentional, or is it a bug on my end?
Edit: I see what happened! Since they're so big, you have to be really close to them. Hehe.
You might be talking about first version juvie sounds, I changed it out for something that sounds a bit better in the later versions, yes I made it myself but it didn't sound great in groups
Great texturing job man, also the juvenile sounds scared the shit out of me; did you make them yourself or pulled them from some kind of dinosaur game?

Are they domesticateable, and can they one day be used as mounts with all the bells and whistles of the vanilla elk? That would be all the more incredible than what is already here!
I wish I could just follow a mod author to see ALL the stuff they do. I am loving these dinos and I want to see what others you do. They are gorgeous!!
