!!! Important!!!
Only works with Wilderlands Rustbound 2.0.0-dev.1 or newer!
This utility mod is intended for short term use on existing worlds that want to add Wilderlands Rustbound. Since bugnests and spires only spawn on runtime in the main module, they will not spawn into world chunks that have already loaded, meaning existing worlds that load W.Rustbound will only have nests and spires in newly generated chunks of the game.
Tthis utility module was created to patch runtime spawning onto bugnests and ermerging bellspires, allowing them to show up in already generated worlds.
HOWEVER- (And this is very important): You need to keep a close eye on bugnest and bellspire populations. These entities do not respawn. With runtime spawning, they will eventually overwhelm the world. So, once you are happy with the bugnest and emerging bellspire population, remove this utility mod and allow W.Rustbound to run on it's own.
Or for some crazy game play, leave the utility module on your world and see how long you can endure the growing infestation.
Question: How long will it take for nests and spires to be sufficiently seeded into an existing world?
Answer: I'm not sure. I thought it would happen pretty quickly, but testing seems to show it could take some time. Much depends on world size, number of players (single player or multiplayer?), and overall activity. The answer also depends on what you want the population to look like. Use: "/entity count" to keep an eye on bugnest and emerging bellspire populations, and remove the utility mod when you are satisfied. Keep in mind that command only tells you how many entities are in the loaded game chuncks, not in the entire world. You'll need to travel and use that command several times to get a good feel for what average populations look like.
Question: Will it hurt my game world to add this or remove it at any time?
Answer: Not at all. Just remember it is not meant to be used constantly. It will need to be removed when nest and spire populations are replenished to a satisfactory manner. Leaving it on permanently could eventually overwhelm the world and bog down performace.
