Bless ya for updating, one of my all time favorite cozy mods.

DigitalHare In 1.22 the devs deleted/ updated the textures I used. So, I had to use the 1.21 texture to keep it the same.

@NomadicPirate: DigitalHare In 1.22 the devs deleted/ updated the textures I used. So, I had to use the 1.21 texture to keep it the same.

I noticed! I was looking through the files trying to figure out what redwood tool the texture it used so I could point it at for an hour or two lol

Without reinstalling a pre 1.22 client I was mostly taking shots in the dark, in the end just went "Ah the oak works well enough as a temp test" and did a mass replace with Notepad++ across all the files.

DigitalHare, Jun 15th at 9:59 PM
@NomadicPirate: Rather simple fix really, since I have multiple installs. All the way back to 1.18.15 🤣

Only time I did multiple installs was trying to migrate our server to 1.22.x, manually swapping out the VintagestoryData folders when I needed to work on the other versions. Pain in the butt, no real reason for me to keep the others so once we migrated fully, I removed 1.21.7 and properly set 1.22.3 in and installed it on server with the modpack tested and ready to go. Saw some launchers but use case for me personally is low.

DigitalHare, Jun 15th at 7:51 PM

Oh, nice I was about to poke and temp upload my server's temporary fork of the mod until yours was ready. Pointed the missing texture to the generic oak and was trying to get my dorks to make sure it looked all right but herding cats. Guess it worked out.

SupremeMorpheus, Jun 12th at 11:32 PM

Any update on 1.22 compatibility? Love these beds, really looking forward to having this mod back in my mod list :D

NomadicPirate , May 14th at 1:52 AM

tobyferrian I apologize for not having an update ready. The last few weeks have been kinda hectic. I do plan on updating, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

tobyferrian, May 6th at 7:38 PM

the mod mostly works on 1.22, but the wood texture has gone missing

sebajunee, May 10th at 12:42 AM
@tobyferrian: the mod mostly works on 1.22, but the wood texture has gone missing

can confirm this on my plays as well, hope it gets a fix soon

NomadicPirate , Apr 18th at 9:41 PM

Yololator I only update for stable versions so I'm not 100% sure, but it likely does.

Yololator, Apr 18th at 11:14 AM

Does this work on 1.22?

NomadicPirate , Apr 12th at 5:14 AM

sebajunee You're welcome!

sebajunee, Apr 12th at 2:22 AM

Thank you!! That makes sense haha I should've been more patient with the handbook while it cycled through recipes ^_^" NomadicPirate

NomadicPirate , Apr 11th at 2:35 AM

sebajunee Here's the recipe for a 'Bare Bed'. If you look it up in the handbook, you have to wait for all of the recipes to cycle through. Then you'll see this one.

I've seen Handbook entries with more than one crafting recipe window. How about doing that for this recipe rather than waiting for all the other options to cycle? I have had this mod installed for months and only just now figured out how to even get into the mod because of this. I was almost about to uninstall it.

I did this as to not have 22 recipes displayed at the same. Which looked and felt ridiculous. If waiting like 30 seconds on a recipe is too cumbersome for you, I don't know what to tell ya. Plenty of people have gotten it and even complimented this mod for ease of use. The recipe is even in the pictures.

sebajunee, Apr 10th at 3:19 AM

I may be missing some sort of feature or crafting step - but are the 'bare beds' only avaliable through traders? I'm having trouble finding the crafting recipe for the bare bed to add a new blanket onto, but I was wondering if I just missed a step or some instructions in the descripture? I have a vanilla, linen bed but not sure if that'll work if it needs to be put into a recipe or not XoX hope this makes sense! Super cute mod btw (:

Janeator You're welcome!

Janeator, Mar 30th at 11:18 AM

Thank you! I shall try the update next game update.

NeoB, Feb 17th at 7:03 AM

NomadicPirate I forgot that I had already posted that image, ha ha ha.
It's just that every time I see a mod like that, I can't help myself.

NomadicPirate , Feb 17th at 3:25 AM

Janeator Took a bit but the new update supports 'More Saddle Blankets'. 🛌💤

NomadicPirate , Jan 21st at 1:46 AM

Janeator I did work on it a little. Without just outright using/ taking the textures, (not doing that) I can't seem to get it working. My patching skills are... not great and probably the cause😬.
If you have any ideas on how to make it work, let me know. Otherwise, I'll have to ask around on Discord for help; which could take a little while.

Janeator, Jan 21st at 12:18 AM (modified Jan 21st at 12:18 AM)

Hi! Are there any news on possible More Saddle Blankets support? :)

NomadicPirate , Dec 2nd 2025 at 2:58 AM

Janeator I will download it and have a look. Seems easy enough, but could take a little time to get everything looking good.

Janeator, Dec 2nd 2025 at 2:28 AM

Would it be possible to have it support More Saddle Blankets?

SpicyHott, Sep 9th 2025 at 7:24 AM

does this work in 1.21?

PureWinter, Aug 8th 2025 at 11:06 AM

I always enjoy using this mod, it's a crowning achievement to cover a fancy bed lol

Janeator, Jul 29th 2025 at 11:47 PM

NomadicPirate weird, because the one I linked and i use keeps working on 1.20.12 just fine for me, never had an issue. Guess I'll switch to the other one... I could've sworn breaking the bed used to remove the spawnpoint, but guess not.

NomadicPirate , Jul 28th 2025 at 1:33 AM

Janeator The 'Bed Respawn' mod that's linked in the description is the exact same. The only difference is, it's been updated more recently to work on 1.20. The one you linked is from 1.18.1.

Janeator, Jul 26th 2025 at 3:32 AM

Hello! This mod does not actually work with https://mods.vintagestory.at/bedrespawnner

Please fix :)
Mind you this is a different bed respawner mod to the other one mentioned in comments below - personally I prefer this one.

NomadicPirate , May 27th 2025 at 4:07 AM

Comrade_Kai I'm not sure how that's even possible since all I did was add it to their sell list. Also when I was testing, I found furniture traders "naturally" instead of spawning them in. This resulted in full sell lists with beds being added every once in a while (tested 15+ new worlds). Creative mode can create some weird bugs, which is why it's best to test "naturally". Not bouncing between creative and survival.

Comrade_Kai, May 26th 2025 at 8:02 PM

Hi there! I noticed a strange bug occurring where Furniture Traders have many items missing (As much as half) from their trade menu, appearing as blank spots. After narrowing down my mod list, I found this one to be the problem. Strangely enough, the traders still sometimes stock beds from the mod! I'm not sure what can be done to address this, but I thought I'd bring it to your attention. You can recreate the bug by opening up a new creative world with just this mod installed and spawning in a furniture trader. Thank you for being a part of this amazing modding community!

NomadicPirate , Apr 10th 2025 at 2:35 AM

Iiell Thank you!
Initially the beds were going to be woodtyped. After a little deliberation I decided against it for two reasons. It would create ~300 beds; which is a LOT. Also, I wanted to keep "potato pc" players in mind since i'm among them.🤣

Iiell, Apr 9th 2025 at 1:32 PM

Lovely Mod! Have you evern considered making the beds woodtyped? So the Frame would look different depending on what type of wood the planks are made of.

NomadicPirate , Mar 8th 2025 at 11:18 PM

Asil I might be a young buck but grew up on an old farm (1800s railroad station house) and used saddle blankets all the time camping, hunting, fishing etc. No shame in it. 🤠
When you're 30-50 miles deep in the woods there isn't anything better than plopping one of them bad boys down and taking a fat cat nap!
I'll look into making sleeping bags with the blankets as well but it could take a little while to make something im happy with.

AilurusHush Yes, this mod pairs perfectly with the mod you linked. It's one I use personally and should work with all saddle blanket beds.
Edit: I added 'Bed Respawn' to the mod description with a link for ease of use.

AilurusHush, Mar 8th 2025 at 8:49 PM

I haven't tested it yet but hopefully it works with this bed respawn mod?
https://mods.vintagestory.at/show/mod/19135

I'll comment back if I have no issues personally or not.

Asil, Mar 8th 2025 at 8:19 PM

Yes! Haybed + Saddle Blanket = Sleeping Bag would work great! I wish I understood coding so I could tweak a lot of these mods just a smidge. But I was in Junior High School when the first desk top computers were being rebuilt out of HAM Radio parts. On the plus side, I really have put a saddle blanket on a haybale and called it a bed. Yes, I'm THAT generation. Not sorry.

NomadicPirate , Mar 3rd 2025 at 2:41 AM

Asil Hay beds and sleeping bags can be done but I will have to learn how to remake textures. Currently the "blanket" on a hay bed is part of the texture, not part of the physical bed and thus adding saddle blankets to them isn't as straightforward. Or do you mean hay bed + saddle blanket = sleeping bag?

If you can find the old mod you're talking about, please post a link so I can take a look. Its got me interested. And if possible, maybe something I will make. Thanks for your input!

Asil, Mar 3rd 2025 at 2:27 AM

What a cool idea! Could this also be added to haybeds to make sleeping bags or mattresses? The idea is to put a mattress on two bookcases to make a decorative window bed like one of the mods several years ago allowed. Plus it would look cool in a pavillion tent or a yurt.

NomadicPirate , Mar 3rd 2025 at 12:00 AM

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

DecaByte There will be an update soon to include new recipes. One to separate the blanket from the beds + adding blankets to a bare bed.

Being able to add/remove blankets in real time (while the bed is placed and useable) would have to be done with code. Something I know nothing about, sadly. And relying on another person for coding isn't something I want to do.

Stratateles, Mar 2nd 2025 at 10:28 PM

Glad to see someone else thinking that the new saddle blankets would make for perfect beds. Thanks a lot for the mod, the beds look great!

RNM, Mar 2nd 2025 at 8:48 AM

спасибо хорошо, а то все мрачное  и старое

DecaByte, Mar 2nd 2025 at 5:19 AM

I like this idea behind this mod.
Couple add-ons I'd like to see. A base bed without a blanket. The ablity to seperate or add the balanket to the bed. Like place the base bed & blanket in grid makes the combined & placing the combinded bed in grid seprates them. Ultimately would be great if could just click to add or remove blanket from bed in world space.
Nice mod! Looking forward to other mod you put out!
