V1.0.1: Added an alternativeDelay to the ModConfig, and a hotkey to toggle the collection delay between the two settings (default Keypad.Multiply, but you can search Toggle Collection in the controls and change it).
Adds a ModConfig that lets you change the delay time for picking up items (in milliseconds), as well as the range at which you can pick items up.
Defaults to reducing the delay significantly (1000->200) and doubling the collection range (1.5->3.0).
Also includes a delay override of 2 seconds if the player is holding in their active slot the same type of item, or if they're holding down the right mouse button (so you can still deliberately drop things).

This mod is great! I can't imagine playing without it now - thank you!
I have noticed something that may be a bug, or it may be something on my end. The mod works correctly the first time I load up the game and the save, but if I quit to menu and then re-enter the game world, the mod ceases to function. Once this happens, I have to quit the game and re-open.
I only changed the delay for how long it waits before attempting to collect an item, not the number of items you can collect per second.
A toggle sounds like a good idea, I'll look into that, this was just a quick mod and I haven't figured out how to properly hook into the input system so I just grabbed a convenient hook.
adjusting the range in config worked fine but changing the delay to 0 or 10 did not seem to change anything - i'm spoiled by Salty's Instant Pickup
i would love if there were a hotkey and if i could adjust the delay. your override idea is all Salty's mod is missing!
