Unofficial update of Simple Roleplay Nametag

Installed serverside.
Clients don't need this installed.
Player's nametag defaults to "A Stranger" if it is not set by the player.
Players can set their roleplay name once by default but can be allowed additional name changes by asking a server admin to use the /rpnamereset [username] command or by setting AllowNameChanges to true in the config.

On first startup it will generate a config file called SimpleNametagsConfig.json

SimpleNametagsConfig.json
{
"DefaultName": "A Stranger",
"AllowNameChanges": false
}

Usage:
/rpname MisterCD

/rpnamereset MisterCD_ (You must use the players actual username not their roleplay name for this to work.)

Hey! did not saw your replies. Cool that you hear suggestions and adapt them to the mod.

Cheers!

XAOCUT That makes more sense and is much more useful. Added. It now only allows you to set your rpname once by default but this can be changed in the config by setting AllowNameChanges to true. Server admins can give players the ability to set their roleplay name again by using the command /rpnamereset [username] in case a mistake is made when setting it.

Amarillo Pinging you just in case this is what you meant instead.

Not into VS modding or proper servers' management either, but I guess what Amarillo meant is some sort of built-in (and possibly configurable?) limitation to the number of name changes a player is permitted. So that maybe an admin could manually change this number to a certain player (via the config file or something) by an admissible reason (e.g. a typo, a new character, etc.), but otherwise the player would only have the ability to set it once at the start.

Amarillo The name changes are permanent and persist across server restarts by saving it in your player data in the world save so you only need to set it once using /rpname name. It should stay that way until you change it again with the command.

Unless you are asking for a way to set the default "A Stranger" nametag that everyone gets assigned at first?

If so, great idea. Added. Now you can set the default name that people will have when they join the server. On first startup it will generate a config file called SimpleNametagsConfig. The default will still be "A Stranger" but you can change it to whatever you feel like and as long as a player doesn't use the /rpname command, it will use whatever is in the config file.

Great mod! Thanks. There is any configuration? Like the possibility to set the name just once?
