Hello everyone, my name is Salem and I am a piano player of twelve years as well as an electronic music producer on a few small labels. I wanted to try something new with what I know and recreated a very chill overhaul of the in game vanilla music, most are redone covers by my self some reimagined and some with a bit of edm flair winter being on with a beat, these have vanilla titles and did my best to match track length in ableton fades of originals etc so it wouldnt be jarring in game.
This covers 70 percent of the main music that you hear normally running around and doing things, that being said I am unsure what gets played and where or what the title of the track is so has been a lot of looking up on wiki and figuring that out. If anyone has a more complete list I do have to do the smaller filler tracks, caves, and a few other smaller things. I may do a redo of the sound fx but that would be another project and im unsure if i wanna even do a thousand sfx one by one. Idk could be fun but would not be anything major just cleaned up mastered with more fx maybe?
the way I did this was more so on a cover piano played in a somber, chill, melencholic, post apocypse theme. that being said all original titles and compositions credit go to original creator Lo Phi, some are covers of his original compositions. others I redid from scratch with augmented keys and a few re arrangements and half-time hooks and bridges. some are just full originals (mainly the seasons) I spent extra time on those and wanted each one to represent its own vibe let me know what you think.
if it is not allowed i will redo them from scratch but wanted to incorporate the original compositions redone into this as a gentle nod to the original creator who spent id image a lot of time themselves making the music for this game from one producer to another my hat off to you LoPhi
Oh side side note if anyone wants to learn how to produce on ableton let me know too I am happy to teach what I know to others dm me on soundcloud for more info on that :)

this is a lot of the main music you hear in game I am missing small filler stuff and caves still I am unsure if caves need creepy music if want I will make some. also unsure what all gets played in game for the filler stuff so if anyone knows let me know. | |||||||
this will be getting a final update soon sorry been working on a few other mods will be fixing some distortion in a few tracks from the ogg conversion It is known, once I am back in the music studio I will be finishing off the rest of the vanilla tracks thanks for the patience, and I will be looking into how to do caves ambience and music as it runs off a different renderer.

Just found this mod, and it looks like a change of pace for the game's soundtrack. Might give it a try.
Also, self promotion is permitted as long as you're not spamming everywhere your soundcloud. So if you want to put your soundcloud on the description, you can do it freely. Just don't go promoting yourself in other mod's comments.
DUCATISLO will look into this was planning on updating a few tracks that had some distortion issues in the ogg conversion and maybe do caves :) I do not plan on fully updating this for 1.22 till its actually out tho but I dont see why it shouldn't still just work in game? I dont believe they changed the loading of anything song wise in 1.22?
i think its broken for 1.22rc?
Reginleif88 this is meant to be more of an overhaul as well i was going for a more chill somber vibe for the main play through these ROR mods are going to be on our own custom server soon so im just throwing a few out to people to see what they think :) i might add more antique harmony was mentioning maybe doing some kind of collab his code adds music mine replaces current music so kind of a niche im pretty good at making tunes so it shouldnt be too hard to add more but gonna reach out see if thats an option or if they are interested but mine was more leaning towards a vanilla overhaul as well i tried to get it to randomize code but im still learning and it just wouldnt hook any of my songs into the game i might reach out and see how thats done but ya was easier for me to do overhaul with what i know currently... i also have ideas for a table with two like resonators and make a dj type booth mod hahah maybe that could be fun hahaha
I like the music, is it possible to not "replace" the main music but like randomize what is played for example? I'm always happy to have "more"

@ijoAwen also I wasnt planning on streaming these ones as its not my normal go to, I make mostly drum and bass and melodic chill kind of trappy dubstep genres.
Is there anywhere i can listen to these? like not in game, but for download or stream?
