REVERENCE
A set of religiously-inspired paladin armour,
compatible with Combat Overhaul
Description:
Reverence is a mod that adds a series of clothing and armour (only armour on release) intended for worship in a fictional blood-worshipping religion.
The armour pieces are craftable using steel and iron armour respectively, and require the Torevarei Armor Schematic to be made. This schematic is not craftable or findable in ruins, and must be spawned in - but it can be copied.
The set (head, body, legs) comes in Iron and Steel variants, with their armour values adjusted to the server this is intended for. Once the server lifespan concludes, the values will be tweaked back to the CO standard.
You can craft the "Anointed" version of each of these sets by combining a bowl of blood (only with Butchering installed) with the armour. This will output a version covered in dried blood. It can be cleaned by crafting with a bowl of water.
Dependencies & Compatibilities:
- Compatible with Combat Overhaul
- Requires Butchering for crafting the Anointed (bloodied) version of all armours.
NOTE: YOUR GAME WILL CRASH IF YOU INSPECT ANOINTED RECIPES IN HANDBOOK WITHOUT BUTCHERING INSTALLED

I see that a patch has been made for this by a third party - do note it is unaffiliated and may not be kept up to date with future versions, as it is not us developing it! https://mods.vintagestory.at/revpatch
Grr_Ghur I will see what is possible. Currently the armor is designed for vanilla usage and then has a patch with our server's appropriate defense values. I'm uncertain if it's possible to make a 2nd patch but perhaps we could release an alternate version with vanilla values.
Blehblehbleh Could you maybe provide a patch others can use till then? I have no knowledge of this server nor how long it will keep going.
Grr_Ghur The stats are tailored to the balancing of the Chronicles of Time RP server, which we play on and this faction exists on. Once the server's life has concluded we will adjust the numbers up.
Chiruda First thing I noticed is that the armours have lower CO defense stats compared to the regular versions they're being made out of. You should probably change it to match. Forgotten armory's author seems to keep the same stats for the armours.
Jhey Y'know, I totally could! Would be fun if I could make a framework that makes it bloodier the longer you're in combat.... hmm........
Looks so cool omg, is adding a bloody version of vanilla armors something you consider ? Maybe on a stand alone
