Having a similar issue to JackHansan, updated mod and the game, now class selection screen does not work.
I tested with only the Player Model Lib mod present, and problem is still there, so it is not this specifically mod.
Just for anyone running into this problem.
Also had the same error as Damonicus1986 when the Racial Equality mod is present.

I'm having an issue that was already mentioned: items are "duplicating," leaving an afterimage on the ground even though they're in the inventory. I tried to find the source of the error but couldn't find anything.
Is there any plan to make females of these races? I know builders of man already exists but your ears are a bit less... uhh... Yeah.

Would it be possible to make the height differences a little smaller? (max 12% difference from human) We're playing in the 200 person civilizations server and we wanted to use your mod, but the admins don't want weird hit box problems.
Seems like there is a bug with what seems to be combat overhaul (I think) where whenever you euqip an armor (except for the new bear armor for some reason) the player model bugs out. No armor shows up and the character is bald.
Anyone else encounter this?

Got a similar problem as Noblesixtank435 Wherein after about 5 seconds all of my Character Creation choices are reverted back to the Default Seraph.
I would love this mod with the added option of more colours... I've been meaning to find a character model that has tusks but I don't want to play green characters :(

Hi, I can't quite figure out why, but after I updated the game and mod, the character creation menu no longer appears.
I checked the logs, but I had no idea what I was reading. Has anyone else had this isssue?
It seems like there's an issue with Maltiez Firearms and this mod's elf race, for some reason the position of every gun from that mod is around 7-8° (y) higher and around 0.0something° (x) to the left and only for elves, making these weapons unusable as you can't even see and if you lower your hands (Interface settings) they become somewhat useable but incredibly inaccurate. I've talked with Maltiez and they say it's not an issue in their mod. I think there's an incorrect value hidden somewhere in the elves model (and it's not the ears as goblins also have ears).
Tomoyuki it seems I am getting a bug when I select anything except for human that after a while the model swaps back to a seraph

Any possibility we could get the new hair styles, hair parts, mustache, beard, eye colors and facial expressions? A server I'm on uses this mod and it would be nice to have even more aesthetic diversity.

I've tried my hand at "updating" the mod itself, but my knowledge of .json coding is limited mostly to reverse engineering what's already there, so I can only do so much. One issue I noticed while attempting this is that the eye texture UVs are incorrect, for example with the attached image below of the Opal eye color on a Seraph and an Elf.
While it does make a neat heterochromia effect, it's sad to lose the gem-like appearance from eye colors like Citrine, Opal, and Black Opal.

Hi Tomoyuki , trying to use the mod but dwarves keep having a blank texture on their clothes for mod version :0.1.23, VS version: 1.21.0
I know it says to get another library version but I am not having any luck because it says the wrong version is installed if it is anything other than: PL modellib 1.0.7, Im not really sure how to fix this. This is in a completely fresh install btw, whenever I try 0.1.22 or 0.1.21 and it's respective plmodel libraries, goblin wont even show up and Im just not sure what I am doing wrong. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for the work you do (I really like the mod I just can't seem to get it to work) :c
EDIT: I actually found a semi-workaround myself, goblin race is still missing sadly, but the textures are fixed for the other races. I kept plmodel library 1.0.5 (which is the library version antlers and goblins ears uses [actually is compatible with the seraph race] ) and unzipped the racial equality 0.1.22 and edited the modinfo file so that the required mod version for plmodel lib said 1.0.5 and it ran alright with the only error being that goblins are still missing. I chose 0.1.22 for my own personal modpack reasons so I don't know if this works with other versions of any other mod, but I figured I'd leave this here in case anyone else is struggling to get it to work.
will mod version 1.22+ that doesn't force disadvantages and perks still work for 1.20, or is it 1.21 only? trying to see for a server i plan on hosting.

Tomoyuki I tried what you said with several different players. It seems to be only the dwarf race that has these broken textures for clothing in 1.21.1. Also only running the races part of your mod. No abilities

Since the server I was playing on updated to 1.21.1, almost all clothing has a bugged appearance on my character, I am playing as a dwarf and my 2 friends who are elves do not seem to have any issues.

If this is not the case, write to me, in 1.21 they fixed the error with relative values and my heights became relative to the growth multiplier
+1 to Mordakaiser's comment on 0.1.22 heights not working, reverting to 0.1.21 fixes it.
SakiTheLamb Their is a fix for the goblin, go to setting and then interface. In the interface tab the should be options for Camera position height Y lower this option and Camera FOV increase this option. this lowers the arms making it way easier to see, while building.

Just downloaded the 1.22 file and the orc model is set to the base Seraph height.
1.21 still has correct height.
Sorry to be a pain, would it be possible to look into compatibility with Combat overhaul, Crossbows and Firearms? alot of the non human races have really bad viewmodel issues making using ranged weapons very difficult.

(Previously on the content part of the mod, but I realised it would be better here)
For whatever reason, when I play as a goblin in 1.21, the camera is now in the goblin's chest. It's making it hard to build, cause the blocks in my hands cover where I'm aiming.
Also, when my character get's cold and does the whole "wrapping arms around themselves for warmth" thing, their arms block my screen.
Is there a fix for this?
Also, and this one's a bit funnier, when I squat I'm now only a block high. My goblin can now fit into 1x1 holes and cave in's don't kill me anymore. As my partner is playing a 3 block tall orc... this is just funny and has made me the mining expert.
Edit: btw, is there any way to give the goblin's the side sweep hair? Really, anything that gives me the option to play a goblin with long hair.
Was the 1.20.12 version updated to remove the abilities as well?

But I haven't worked with sound and can't devote time to it due to higher priorities with other things

NyArcaneWrath Yes, the mod for women contradicts my concept of the mod, and at least I would not add it to the main branch (maybe an addon?).
Also, I do not have time for full compatibility with all possible types of armor, since for each armor I will have to create its small analogue for dwarves (for all the others everything will work without compatibility), it takes too much time.
Additional underwear is good, but if you add it, then add it by default, and for this I would like to agree with the author of the original.
As for the faces... they are... strange

Awesome, thank you for splitting this up! Would it be possible to add unique voices to each? I don't know if the game makes it something that can be done but I would love the gobo voices for goblins.

SnuffleTuff it's relatively easy to get a hold of how to modify them yourself and add or remove your own traits, I have fully customized them for the server I am planning to set up... but now with the release of 1.21 i'm running into an issue with the Dwarf model. Player model library seems to have a bug that causes the texture not to show up on whatever clothing the dwarf model equips to their upper body / legs / head / some armor slots... it's pretty maddening because everything else seems to work ok and I put quite a bit of effort into modifying these configs! :) Best of luck to you if you intend to do so as well!
I got the dwarf model working by deleting model-replacements-byshape.json!

would it be possibe to add a way of removing the different Trait and Classes or at least changing them via config, as they do clash with mods such as xSkills and other Class mods

I am playing with the Firearms mod and i have noticed that only humans can look down the firearms properly, I assume its to do with the view model of the smaller races. Do you know how i could fix this?

@Tomoyuki yeah we love it! Seen the hunger one but I kind of like it, ads a bit more chaos and struggle. There is no mod for riding wolfs/boars, All I did is added the rideable properties of the elk to a boar and it can be ridden like one. The problem was the model attaching points, have to put in the correct one so it's not default to the origin point. And have to add a class restriction so other races can't ride them. If you have a page on Vs discord I can put up some pictures (the link here is broken)

hey I noticed that this mod isn't fully compatible with combat overhaul. it might be good animations wise, but the classes don't have the proficient stuff and the ranged damage modifier on classes don't actually work. I tried making a classes mod myself and I even contacted the creator of CO and he said that it was made to make sure the ranged damage doesn't change.
I would like to jump on the train with Chezmeister147 and ask how I would remove class restritcions for races. I am having trouble finding what files to edit to do so.
Hi, I love your mod alot and so do my friends. I was just wandering if you plan to make dwafs a bit more resistant to the temporal effects deep underground? currently I loose stability faster than all my friends despite being a mountain dwarf lol. If its not planned or can't be resolved then thats alright. Keep up the good work!

I'm not belittling people, it's just that against the backdrop of strong buffs and debuffs, people seem ordinary.
In the near future, people will have "Anarchist" who will replace "Exploder" and will receive throwing explosives and igniting devices.
With Seraphim removed I assume you will be redistributing the traits that have unique crafting recipies amunst other racial classes. If you wern't then consider this a recomendation to do so.
I'll check back when this is furthur along to see if Humans are lacking or not. (I blame D&D for the trend to make Humans lack any intresting modifiers)

why is i try to change to Seraph during character creation it keep reverting to other class, like dwarf or goblin, even if im fast enough to confirm seraph and his job, when i spawn my character will revert to other class but with the job i choose. picking other class seems to be no issues

I see Dwarfs have custom recipes, but I cant find anything in the game/mod folder on what they are. All I see is boulder, are they implimented already or no?
I love this mod- except the human classes. Is there a way to bring them more in line with default ones? Or at least to give the option of 'Commoner' back to them? Maybe the human classes could reflect their versatility, allowing them to fill any niche on a server (think Farmer, Miner, Fighter, Hunter, etc)?
Spikeball I have plans for interesting mechanics for one of the human classes, so I don't think humans are being left out.

It alwys annoys me when Humans are given nothing special. There are so may things humans are great at. Humans can persistence hunt, meaning they can jog all the time wich is super rare; worth noting other animals sprint faster but only for short time periods. Accuratly throwing things is rare(not as rare as long endurence running) too; Bow aiming is an extention of that. Humans recover from injury better then other animals, most wil die to a broken leg. and recover from the injusry faster; weeks instead of months. Important for a survival game we have a very diverse diet compaired to most so limmiting food sources for the other races could make sense.
Definetly adding this to my next playthroug with everyone, and shame it didn't apear sooner, it would have been perfect for a series of streams happening now.

I would describe it like this: Dwarf - slow but armored. Elf - fast but frail. Org - strong but needs to eat a lot. Goblins - fast but low HP. And humans are a hodgepodge of everything.
Does anyone know what the race traits are?
Since i can see its in the planned section, but traits are also mentioned above, but no where does it say what they are.
I'm running 1.21 atm so checking is a bit hard atm.

The visuals on this mod are cool. I would second a version where you could use default and modded classes for the various races.
Not to be rude but the elf is god damn butchered. Movement speed loss, hp loss, (and in one case) super butchering loss? You gotta give them better greens or lesser reds cause its practically racial inferiority
Can we get details on what the bonuses, cons, and etc for each race is? And does this support modded classes like GlooMeClasses?
It appears that this mod has a conflict with the Working Classes mod, causing some of their changes to classes to overwrite the Dwarf, Elf, and Goblin traits.
Also, to add to this, would it be possible to allow the various races to access the Working Classes?
Bit of a nitpick, but when playing as the Orc (and maybe the Elf) other players view my head clipping through a 2 block tall hallway. While it's purely a cosmetic issue, It's unsettling watching an Orc's skull phase through solid rock whenever they walk through a door.
Is it possible to change the actual view height of the different races? Goblin and Orc first person height is the same and I was looking forward to towering over my puny friends.

WeeZachaeus If you don't see races then there is a problem with the library, if you don't see classes then this is a unique error, I need to figure it out

My friends and I just added this mod and can't figure out how to use it. We added it to a server that's already been running but when we run .charsel we can't see the class?

Would it be possible to request Races and traits for future updates? Of course once you have all the base races already in the mod ironed out.

i understand the frustration but it would be great for us that want to use the base classes. or at least open the mod to be forked for someone to do it
@ChaoticNote Base classes will not be supported. For me they are frustrating.
Would you make it so that these races can pick the basic default classes as well please? I would also like it to work with Maltiez's Combat Overhaul mod.

I'm not sure what this mod is outside of what you're offering. What I mean is will these races/npc be roaming the landscape or these we can choose when starting a new character? I just want to be know before I install it.

Hey! Fantastic looking mod, but we were having some trouble trying to get it to work on our end. It could be because of the release candidate we are on, or cuz of another mod perhaps, but when trying to launch a new world with it, it keeps saying the mods dl was already loaded and cannot be reloaded, and infinitely asks us to "reload mod version" and restart game.
