This small addon allows you to use the evaporation pond to turn hot spring water (boiling water) into powdered sulfur.
This does have the side effect of allowing you to pick up hot spring water in a bucket now. This is because I had to set liquid containers to fill with "boilingwaterportion" instead of "waterportion" in order for this to work. I don't know if there's a way around that, it seems that it affects all liquid containers universally.
Made for my boyfriend because he had the hardest time finding sulfur <3

Faeldray ahh that makes a lot of sense, i was trying to get it to work on a hot spring on top of a frozen mountain XD thanks for the reply, i love both mods and should be able to use them together now :D
JadeTheRipper I tested this mod and Healthy Hot Springs together and was able to get the evaporation pool to produce sulfur. I did have some problems getting the evaporation pool to form at first but restarting my client fixed that. I don't know what season it was when you tried this but it takes 48 hours to produce anything at 20C. If it's colder, it can take much longer and it stops evaporating altogether at -30C by default. So maybe that affected your results?
PSA. It seems there might be an incompatibility issue between this mod and Healthy Hot Springs, im assuming its because both alter the boiling water block. It would form the evaporation pool but never actually produce anything thorugh evaporation, removing the other mod worked.

CassMerry I haven't tested it yet but it should be! We patch the same file but different sections so it shouldn't conflict
