Latest release (for Vintage Story 1.22.0 - 1.22.5, potentially outdated):
PhotoMode_1.1.0.zip  1-click install

Press the HotKey (default O) to unlock the camera, if needed open the menu (default key Ctrl+O), take your screenshots, press the HotKey again to leave the Photo mode.

Menu offers:
- adjustable FOV
- colour filters
- vignette
- grain
- depth of field (a bit wonky)
- composition grid
- letterbox bars

 

HotKey, menu key and other relative keys can be changed in "Settings".

(You can still be attacked while in Photo mode!)

No. I coded it that way on purpose: it's not an x-ray mod.

This is perfect! i was to intimidated by saltys cameraman mod so ive been building dirt towers to take ariel photos of my base this makes it 100 times easier thank you. 
Also tested and working flawlessless in singleplayer on 1.22.4 /5
