Six colors to collect: red, yellow, blue, green, white, and purple. Collect them all? Stuff them in your bank? Fashionscape?

Also you can display the party hats! :)

Party Hat Cracker!

 

The Party Hat Cracker will give you a random party hat on use.

Pulling it sets off some confetti

Craft/Buy

 

Craft a party cracker, with parchment, rope, and gears.

Or buy one from a trader. Luxuries and clothing traders both have a chance to daily stock a party cracker for 100 rusty gears.

  • runescape party hat colors: red, green, blue, purple, white, yellow
  • party hat cracker: right click to roll for a party hat, 1/6 chance for each color
  • able to put both items on display

You know that the original needed another player to crack the cracker, do you?
50% Chance for each of the players to get one. That was what made it so special!
If you could find a way to implement this behavior in VS, that would be epic!
Then we only need a config option that makes it unobtainable, so admins can start an economic hype on those things.

haha yes I had the OG method thought too, but think of the people in Singleplayer worlds!
although seeing phat in some vinty server cost max cash stack in gears would be amazing

I was thinking about installing this to my multiplayer server, because the interactive part braught the community much closer together back than in the old days.
Maybe this could work on smaller scale on VS servers. Sure, a single player adaptation like yours is a nice thing to have and the esthetics are on point.
But if I want my users to have fun with it on our server, they need the real experience like in 2001 (most of the users on my server don't even know RS).
So if by any means you have the ability to upgrade this mod into an interactive multiplayer event, this would be my dreams come true =)
