Latest release (for Vintage Story 1.18.15 - 1.22.2, potentially outdated):
NoSaturationLossDelay_v1.1.3.zip 1-click install
A simple re-upload of one of my favorite mods (With permission by the authors Emeal and Weathersong) that still seems to work as of 1.22.2!
Ever wondered why it feels like the hunger bar isn't going down for a while after eating something? Well, it's intentional. The game has a feature called SaturationLossDelay that basically gives you protection against becoming hungry again the larger the meal you just ate.
But, hold on.
The game already rewards you for cooking your food in a cooking pot by multiplying the satiety (Called saturation in the code) that you get. Place ingredients worth 400 satiety into a pot and it will turn into a meal worth 600 satiety!
So channel your inner 'Enry, feel quite 'ungry and make keeping yourself fed a challenge!
Whenever you gain SaturationLossDelay, the mod sets it back to 0. Thus giving you no grace timer, making your hunger always go down slowly and steadily as your body uses your consumed calories.
Simple as.
I personally combine it with a mod (or xSkills's Huge Stomach skill) that increases your max satiation value from the vanilla max of 1500 to something bigger. 2500 is a decent amount for my taste. A big quality of life, since you can't rely on the loss delay anymore to keep your bar up as long.

i totally didn't just mention this mod, to you, on a diffrent mod page.
(btw awesome mod, i always felt the pause was not nessary)
omg. i dont want to use the mod bc i haye eating as it is but i'm gonna give it a download just to support hENRAY
To make eating less annoying, I personally use this mod: Big Eater, but edited to only fit 2500 instead of the mod's default 5000. It's pretty easy to change, just open the one .json file in the mod's zip and change the numbers from 5000 to 2500.
hungry of skalitz mentioned
I feel quite hungry indeed
Love this cover :D
