Requires Combat Overhaul and Reading Comprehension
Meant to add missing damage types to bows for players that don't use Crossbows and Firearms.
Adds 3 arrow types:
- barbed - more damage, less damage tier
- bodkin - piercing damage type, more damage tier, less damage
- blunt - blunt damage type, less damage tier, less damage
Stop asking me to make this mod not depend on CO. In vanilla, damage tiers and damage types have no effect on gameplay. You DON'T need this mod in vanilla, it does not make sense.

I just want to double check that there aren't any conflicts/issues that you're aware of before I patch out most of the vanilla arrows that overlap with the Bodkin Arrows in this mod?
The arrows from this mod aren't useable to craft the Bow Quiver from Quivers and Sheaths.
I believe this mod needs a rebalance, after the CO rebalance. These uses the numbers of the older damage model, but with the new bow multipliers. Barbed steel arrows from a longbow went from doing 16.2 damage to 27, hah.
I love arrows. Incredible mod, the different arrow-heads look awesome!

animegamer87 vanilla arrows has no damage tier, so this arrows wont either. This is not an "Arrows overhaul" mod, this is mod that adds more specialized arrows for CO bows utilizing the depth CO adds to vanilla combat. If you want arrows overhaul mod for vanilla you can ask some other modder to make it, or commission it to me for $500 (minimum price I take for any amount of work). In vanilla you have damage stat, and thats all, in pvp damage tier matter, yes, but I dont care about pvp, and pvp in vanilla is broken anyway, so who else cares.
Whats the point of arrows with just more damage that are made the same way as all other arrows? This does not make sense. Please do make sense.
Maltiez but the arrows are better are they not? and if it were to be used for pvp or for roleplay purposes im sure some people could find use of the other features. if you dont wish to do so that is fine, but i think it would be cool to go the route of overhaul lib like crossbows and firearms without having an absolute attachment to all of the changes combat overhaul makes to have the better arrows this provides, with extra compatability for combat overhaul baked in.
im not demanding this at all, but you did ask what the point would be without combat overhaul and i think everyone would like more arrows with more damage
animegamer87 it is not "better arrows", it is "more arrows". Why would you ever need this mod outside of CO? Have you read the top comment before posting your own?
Maltiez it would be cool to be able to use better arrows without having to get into the combat overhaul exosystem, as some of us dont like the animation changes and many mods are not compatible

I would love Poison arrows or Poison bolts and when you poison an animal you cant eat the poison meat, Thats my only suggestion and wish
Explosive bolts for crowd control would be very fun. Imagine strapping a scrap bomb to the end of an arrow
Realistic fire arrow will have only one use case: set flammable blocks on fire from a distance. May be useful for pvp servers, otherwise too niche.
please add fire arrows and fire basket arrows, as well blunts should have an affect to add weight to small game animals to simulate its use in real life,also wooden blunts are more common in real life, so maby a subset of stone age arows eg wooden tip arrows that act like piercing damage type that maby you cook in the fire or hold over one in order to char the end and strengthen it, im a really big archery buff and love your mods so im just throwing around ideas, but fire arrows would be fucking sick love your work bro
More Bolts? PLEASE?!
Noticed and issue with XSkills (not sure should i post it here or at Xskills post since XSkills and CO should be compatible?)
Bodkin/Serrated/Blunt doesn't work with Archery skills, arrows don't receive bonus damage.
I'd think blunt would do less piercing damage but have a tiny bit of knockback, and is there any kind of stun effect? Just to disrupt a charge or stagger a target?
Blunt weapons are typically used to deal with armored foes, and I'm just trying to think of how to translate that effect.

Will the stack size for finished arrowheads be raised from 1 to 64 to make it like the vanilla arrowheads? Dropping a newly-smithed stack of any arrowheads to quench them in water causes them to not form a single stack when picked up again.

the one that looks like copper is bizmuth bronze.
Thumbnail is missleading, there are no copper arrows, only bronze, iron and steel

In Bullseye there is no difference between damage type and almost no between damage tiers
Will this eventually gonna come for bullseye or just for CO?
