This Clientside mod turns the models of leaf blocks invisible so that you can plan out big builds without having to commit to having to burn entire forrests down that you might want to partially keep.
I thought it was a really useful tool i was lacking for my own mountain build. but here you go.
the leaf blocks are still there, their textures are just invisible. so they're still there and you'll still need to break them if they're in the way. Enjoy!
