Item Frames!

This mod adds item frames that you can place on your chests [while holding shift] or on the walls.
You can right-click the frame while holding at item to display that items' picture in the frame.
Useful for labeling and organizing your storage and saving you the headache of remembering which chest contains what, without having to waste space on full blocks / signs.
Attaches right to the chest side with four little tiny wooden legs! No floating, immersion-breaking sheaningananas!

To create a frame, surround a plain piece of cloth with sticks!

This is my first mod. It can contain bugs. It can cause issues. It might or might not burn your game world, steal your socks and run away. ALWAYS create backups for your worlds before installing any new mods, and during their operation.

It works but no idea how.

I'll have to look into it, it's my first mod so I'm not sure if we're supposed to somehow register it somewhere else to show up in the handbook so at least the item itself shows up there - it has been like that from the start, hence the screenshot with the crafting schematic.

I'm not a modding expert, but I think you want your modinfo file to say something more like - "dependencies": {"game": "1.22.0"} - this is how other mods that support all minor versions (the X in 1.22.X) do it, and on game version 1.22.2, these versions of the mod throw what appear to be blocking errors because the game doesn't think they're supported.

That's odd, I've picked the versions out on the website itself and only tested on 1.22.6 and 1.22.7 [with both having separate downloads] - will check it out. Depending on the changes, it might NOT be supported on anything lower than 1.22.6 if there were any major changes to the API in these.

Looks like my mod, but probably better

Can you add support for crates to?

@Awakatanka: Can you add support for crates to?

I'll try, if I can find how to go around the item inserting, altho there's already crates in vanilla [and modded] that display items on them

Ok, thanks for answering and put me on the right road. If it is already possible in vanilla then i suppose it is not necessary. I found the answer how to do it also on the forum.

I use your mode now as resources hints on crafting tools

Thumbnail painting source?

Noctale, Aug 13th at 7:14 PM
@MagentaLizard: Thumbnail painting source?

That's the "glam" painting, added in 1.20 and found only in ruins.

Virijawiya, Aug 13th at 6:52 PM

What is that painting in the mod thumbnail?
