Idle Pause

You left the oven on didn't you

 

 

This tiny QoL client side only mod automatically pauses your game.

When idle for a entire minute (default - configurable) the game pauses and triggers the pause menu. It purposefully ignores opened guis, so it will pause even if you have the inventory, player stats, map or anything opened .

It is strictly Single Player only. It won't do nothing in multiplayer.

This mod is from the Workshop series.

Configs:

Check the how to use comment in the json config file.

the mod let's you: 

Configure the amount of time it takes to pause the game automatically.

Configure what kind of inputs are read to reset the idle timer.

 

How to access the configs:

Hit the windows key and type %appdata%, then hit enter>

Find the folder VintagestoryData>

Find the folder ModConfig>

Find and open IdlePause.json>

Edit the values to what you want, numbers/true or false>

Enter the game.

is it possible to make it also read continuous mouse clicks? i've had this mod trigger while i'm using the quern by hand and it's somewhat inconvenient

I forgot to mention it all that time ago when I was using the mod and it happened. Does this still pause multiplayer worlds if the host goes afk?

SaltyWater i was wondering if it was possible for you to make it so it wont pause while sitting or doing similar actions so its possible for the game to still continue while afk for those moments when you just have to wait for a temporal storm to pass or something to cook/smelt

So this works based on keyboard/mouse input within the game window? I'm currently using AnAFKStory and Pause on Load and would love to replace both of them with this.
