This mod adds side storage slots to horses from Equus: Wild Horses so they can hold stuff like the falx and cooking pots like Elks do.

It also lets you place pillions on horses!

I made this since someone asked for Equus support for my other mod, Crocks on your Elk Redone. This was out of scope for that mod, but I figure some players might like to have this so here it is!

I don't play with Equus so if the mod breaks feel free to @ me in the comments. There's a good chance of it needing updates whenever the horse model is updated!

This mod is published under the unlicense! Anyone may modify it!

Requirements

• Just Equus and its requirements.

Compatibility

• This mod will likely work with any mod that uses the vanilla slot codes for attachments.
  • Anything that adds custom slot codes would need a patch, but it would be simple to do.
• Modded items could have incorrect positioning on horses. I don't think I can do much about that with the current implementation but thankfully many modded items seem to line up acceptably.
  • The Infantry Dolabra clips into the horse on the right side but not the left.
    • Same issue with Walking Sticks.
• Modded pillions may need patches.

Technical details

This mod uses a patch to inject the following geometry into the tamed horses shape file:

• RightFrontStorage: Selection box/Attachment box for some weapons such as the Falx.
  • PotParentR: Attachment box for cooking pots.
  • RFrontAP: The actual attachment point. 
• LeftFrontStorage: Selection box/Attachment box for some weapons such as the Falx.
  • PotParentL: Attachment box for cooking pots.
  • LFrontAP: The actual attachment point.

The patch also injects the "frontrightside" and "frontleftside" slots into the horses' wearable slots and "RFrontAP" and "LFrontAP" as selection boxes to match elks.

Currently, this is missing the bow attachment box, but it seems to work fine without it. Bows should still attach, unless you have Bullseye.
