GGBCsRepair_1.0.2.zip 1-click install
Allows you to repair tools in the crafting grid using the tool itself, a piece of the material it is made of, a soldering iron, and solder.
The mod is very lightweight and highly compatible with any other, as it only uses the vanilla crafting system.
Each repair adds one-quarter (+~20%) of the missing tool durability, and consumes a single metal bit, one soldering iron bar + some solder durability. The lower the durability, the more profitable it is to repair the tool. The more durability a tool has left, the less you can repair with one metal bit.
- Preserves the tool's rarity from the ItemRarity mod and the tool's quality from the xSkills mod. The latter may change depending on the quality of the solder you use.

has it been tested if this mod respects CAN's Jewlery socketed gems on gear? otherwise hell yea an actual use for sodder!
Kilain thats an interesting concept but sadly, re-forging any item will forcefully reset its ItemRarity and xSkills stats.
My knowledge isn't enough to figure out how to preserve them after re-forging and idk if it's possible at all. Perhaps, this would require tweaks on the part of the authors of the above mentioned mods
I love the idea of this mod, i do feel however that it would've a more interesting if it used the forging mechanic rather than just the crafting grid, that said the ability to do a field repair is very handy, perhaps if you find the concept interesing the crafting method could become a rough & inefficent quick fix and a forging method could be an efficent full repair?
