Sticks for Firepit
Edits the Firepit to now let you use sticks instead of firewood so you don't have to use a single stick to make an axe and have to constantly lug around four firewood when you explore. ...that doesn't sound right.
...or if you're too lazy to use Firewood from Sticks.

RunYouCleverBoy honestly I would do an alternate recipe, but the thing with the campfire is that it's hardcoded to only accept firewood on every stage.
Probably for another time, or a redux.
ouh.. maybe u can make alternate campfire? cause now campfire cant be crafted friom firewood.
idea- alternate block which while building but swapping after built finished to be the vanilla campfire?
why isnt vanilla..
This is a really cool and highly underrated mod, thank you so much for it!
By the way, could you add the ability to make a campfire out of peat?
Also, the mod works perfectly on version 1.21.1!

It could be an incompatibility with something else but I have nothing that affects the pit itself above the charcoal pit, I'm certain its an incompatibility if you said it works on your side though since its worked fine until I updated a bunch of mods, thank you for testing it though and apologies

Are you sure that's because of this mod? I'm doing a 3x3x5 pit (with the 5 layer being the firepit) and it's fine.
It breaks the charcoal pit atm, you can't place neither sticks or firewood for the little pit on top, works fine when removing mod
That's a weird bug, I could still use firewood on my firepits. Are you trying to make a fire pit with firewood? Which, you know, this mod replaces with sticks?

Hey guys, I spent like an hour trying to figure out why I couldn't put firewood on my fires when I had over 100 mods installed. turns out this mod makes it so you can ONLY use sticks on a fire. I would probably say skip this one, firewood becomes literally useless if you use it. I'd rather have firewood than have to use all my sticks for fires.
This is one of those mods that I don't actually need at all, but I'll bloat my modlist with it anyway just because the tweak makes so much sense. It makes sense for "realism", because have you ever tried getting large split firewood to catch fire directly off of tinder? Haha, that's not gonna work. It makes sense for gameplay flow, because it makes fire available with the barest minimum of materials for the desperate player, while firewood is still the refined solution that works better for long-term fuel than burning sticks.
Sure, the visual model still shows pieces of firewood, but so does vanilla when you load a firepit with peat or charcoal, so w/e.
It just simply allow to use sticks in the construction, and yes it replaces default construction

Does this change the firepit model or simply allow to use sticks in the construction? Also does it replace the default construction? Nice idea tho XD
